There are a lot of people out there that think they know everything about the new Google Glass gadget coming out. So this guy took to the streets and asked people what they thought of his Google Glass device. As expected most of these people had no idea what it was but pretended that he had a pair on. Our friends over at Microsoft kicked off the day with a huge announcement about the next generation in their XBox console family. The XBoxOne has been revealed, and we were front row center with our eyes peeled on all the new awesomeness. It looks to be pretty hands on with your everyday lifestyle, and with these new features, Microsoft looks to set the tone on what will be the next generation of entertainment and integration. Below, you’ll find a few different features they touched on, along with some information that we found out about through networks and gaming gurus online. Here’s what we know:
-Voice Recognition and Commands: The XBoxOne will recognize the users voice and respond to commands like “XBoxOn,” “XBox Go Home” and “XBox Watch TV” along with many more.
-Skype on XBoxOne: Group video chat, along with high-speed, HD connection on a big screen tv, with what Microsoft calls the best living room camera on the market
-SnapMode Picture-in-Picture: The new kinect unit that comes with all XBoxOne consoles will allow hand gestures to do various things on screen like snapping windows open and closed, along with having multiple windows showing at once.
-Steven Spielberg to direct Halo TV Series: That’s right, the legend himself is going to be behind the franchise title moving onto the small screen. Hopefully they integrate this directly into the gameplay a la Defiance.
-XBoxOne will be released later this year. That’s right. We’re thinking probably Holiday season.
-It will NOT be backwards compatible with XBox360 games. Due to a few different things, kind of a bummer, but don’t get rid of those 360′s just yet folks.

Looks like the deal that has been talked about all weekend is finally going through. Yahoo’s financial board has approved the $1.1 billion acquisition of Tumblr which will officially be announced on Monday. Yahoo was really the only company going after the blogging platform and still offered such a large amount. In case you didn’t know, Twitter launched a new music app today helping us discover new and up-n-coming talent fast. As if Twitter doesn’t spread news fast enough these days, you’ll be able to hear new music based on hashtags and different categories like #nowplaying, popular, emerging, and suggested. For all you anti-iPhoners out there, Samsung has finally released the first TV ad for the Galaxy S4. Looks like they’re targeting the translation feature in this one to start with. An interesting target market to go with off the bat since it seems like the phone could have much better features than just that. Plus we all know there’s no phones at the dinner table!
For those of you with the “I’ll get an iPhone when T-Mobile gets it” excuse, you’re good to go now! Better late than never, but T-Mobile has finally acquired the iPhone and will start carrying the device on April 12th. The best news is that the phone will run on T-Mobile’s lightning fast LTE network which just launched today in seven U.S. cities. Oh and another plus is that eligible T-Mobile customers will be able to get the phone for much less than any other provider, only $99.

This is a super interesting concept. A new iPhone app called “Hater” just launched at SXSW that is designed to showcase all the things you don’t like. “It’s basically like Instagram for everything you hate,” says Hater CEO Jake Banks when speaking about his app at SXSW. Good news for haters, just take a picture of something you hate, upload it through the app and share it with your fellow haters all around the world. Apparently it has been really well received so far, we’ll have to see how it progresses down the road. It’s available as a free iOS app if you’d like to check it out for yourself. Hate away.
