One of the co-founders of of Roc-A-Fella records Kareem “Biggs” Burke was sentenced to 5 years in prison today for distributing more than 100 kilos of marijuana.
According to the New York Daily News, Biggs was snared as part of a dragnet dubbed “Operation Green Venom,” in which 50 people were arrested for conspiracy to distribute marijuana in a coordinated sting that included New York’s Department of Investigation, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the New York Police Department, the U.S. _Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in New York and the Special Narcotics Prosecutor’s office. _ Source
Not sure how much I trust this source but according to MediaTakeout.com Chris Brown could face up to 5 years for the phone snatching he committed a few days ago. The crime was officially named “robbery by snatching” which is a violent robbery felony that can carry a sentencing up to 5-years in prison.
