So this is getting way too out of hand. Some people are starting to think they themselves are James Holmes and are trying to replicate what he did in various different ways.
First we have this man, Michael Barboa who was arrested in Arizona while watching the movie because he stood up and grabbed his backpack. This caused the entire movie theatre to panic and everybody evacuated the premises. He was intoxicated when this happened and when the police searched his backpack all he had was some moonshine and some more empty bottles. This one was simply an overreaction by the movie goers.
Then you have Timothy Courtois from Maine. He went to the entire movie, left doing 112 MPH on the freeway with an AK-47 in his car along with other hand guns, and was on his way to go kill a co-worker. The most disturbing part was that when the police pulled him over they also found news clippings of the Colorado shooting in the vehicle. His apartment was later searched and more guns were found, glad they got this dude off the streets.
Last but not least we have Clark Tabor (California) who was waiting in line at the movie and shouted “I should go off like Colorado” followed by “Does anybody have a gun?”. He yelled these things out of frustration for standing in line too long. Let’s hope that these copy cats don’t get out of hand because this is not something to be played with. People will just stop going to the movies.
The DEA just discovered a new drug tunnel in Arizona that belongs to the Sinaloa Cartel. There are also speculations that several engineers were hired to build this tunnel since it’s one of the most sophisticated structures they have ever seen. No arrests have been made during the find but a 39-pound load of methamphetamine was confiscated. Click HERE for more info on the bust.
Nipsey Hussle issued an official statement about the shooting that happened outside of an Arizona club that he was supposed to perform at. Here it is.
My deepest thoughts and sympathies go out to the victims and their families who were affected by the tragic event that took place last night in Arizona, and I pray for the speedy recovery for anyone involved.
Contrary to current media reports, it’s important note that these shootings did NOT happen inside a venue, concert, or show in which I was booked to perform, and at the time of the incident, I was in my hotel room.
I grew up on the streets of south central Los Angeles and have witnessed many tragedies in my lifetime. I never glorify any situation like this and think it is disgusting. Any fan of my music knows that I strongly oppose gun violence, and that I represent nothing but peace and progress through hard work… that anyone can overcome adversity no matter what your social status in life, which is clearly addressed on my latest release, “The Marathon Continues.”
Many people will wrongfully attribute this incident to the hip-hop culture, which is purely and simply false. The alleged shooters were not ticket holders for my performance. Regardless, this incident is a tragic reminder of the circumstances that face our community every day, and my heart and prayers go out to the victims of this, and all the other senseless acts of violence occurring every day in our communities.
Thirteen people were injured last night during a shooting outside of a nightclub in Tempe, Arizona where Nipsey Hussle was scheduled to perform. CNN reported earlier that there were no fatalities, but two people are in serious condition following the incident. The authorities are looking for two men as suspects in the shooting. Nipsey Hussle did not perform as a result but left the following Tweet showing his feelings about what happened.
