Street artist Jay Shells is doing something really cool in the streets of New York. He’s been putting up street signs that read historically memorable rap lyrics from some of the legends in hip-hop culture. With all the digital art out there we felt like this was one work of art that definitely deserves some attention. Click HERE for more info.
The Game just got Barack Obama’s face tattooed on his chest by artist Carlos Macedo. The ruler of the free world’s face now sits directly above The Game’s “Compton” tattoo that spans his stomach. Video below. The President could not be reached for comment.
This would be one awesome collaboration. Kendrick Lamar recently met up with actor and recent music video director Shia LaBeouf to talk about possibly working together. Here’s what K. Dot had to say about the meeting and the possibility of having Shia direct one of his videos.
“We actually had a meeting… Shia LaBeouf, he has a crazier career than mine, but once we really do sit down and lock in, it’s gonna be insane… He wanted to do a video, he had a few ideas… that was the time I was recording the album and going on the road so I couldn’t really sit down for a period of time.”

Being at Magic this past week there was one booth that really stood out amongst all of them, it was all people could talk about. This was the crime scene booth displayed by SSUR. It was full of guns, drugs, money, and dead bodies. Some people got what the brand was trying to portray and some didn’t. So here’s Russ Karablin from the brand explaining the meaning behind such a graphic scene.
This painting is hanging in the flower section of a Manhattan Whole Foods and we found it on BuzzFeed. It’s Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as Kate and Leo from the famous front of the boat scene in Titanic.
What a great way to start off the week. Terry Richardson is known for shooting some amazing names but this one has to be up there as one of the greatest photo shoots ever. Rihanna is having an outstanding 2013 and this photo shoot just adds on to another major move. Click HERE to see all of the photos.

Everyone’s favorite Streetwear Culture book is back again. The All Gone series drops around this time every year and recaps the entire year in streetwear, covering all of the new trends and best looks from that past year. This year’s edition has the book wrapped in a paisley graphic, which became very hot this year. The 2012 All Gone is available at online retailers now.
Now for a while we thought Rihanna’s tattoo was a little too much but very unique. Then after she worked the hell out of it just like she does with everything, we accepted it and thought “Okay that tat is dope”. Rihanna has always been very unique with everything she does so this was no different. Now you have a fan that goes out and gets the EXACT SAME tattoo in the EXACT SAME spot? Come on son… that’s just ridiculous. Where has originality gone these days?
