The last thing you expect when playing a game of baseball in college or practicing is for someone to fall out of the sky and knock you out. Well that’s exactly what we have here with this clip. Such a random occurrence.
Thought this would make a great pic of the day. Rapper are usually either taking pics with fans or other rappers. This time we’ve got Nas at a Mets game with Mr. Met himself. Pretty hilarious photo if you ask me.
Looks like Givenchy is getting with the sports season and just released an all new baseball inspired sweater. This is seriously one of the most perfect sweaters we’ve ever seen. The price is pretty damn high at $935, but if it’s in your high fashion price range, go ahead and cop HERE.
Now this is one impressive catch, those cups aren’t all that wide. Dude catches a foul ball with his beer cup and then takes down the whole thing. Granted that most of it spilled on his shirt, this was still a pretty dope “bro” moment.
Justin Verlander just signed a new contract to stay with the Detroit Tigers that will give him $180 million over the next seven years. There is even an optional eighth year that would push the deal to $202 million. Verlander is now the highest paid pitcher in the MLB, surpassing Seattle’s very own Felix Hernandez who we signed for $175 million this February. Verlander tweeted, “I love this city & the fans – couldn’t be more excited to spend my career here! We’re going to bring a World Series to Detroit!!!”. $200 million can buy a lot of things, only time will tell if it will buy a World Series for Detroit.
Baseball players don’t like when the pitcher throws the ball at them, especially when he does it more than once. Here’s what happened at the World Baseball Classic earlier when Canada faced Mexico. One of the biggest baseball brawls ever.
It’s crazy to see even big stars like Ichiro get nervous when meeting another celebrity, but who would’ve thought he would be THIS nervous? Check out the first time Ichiro got to meet Michael Jordan way back in the day.
When it comes to stunners, 50 Cent has always been known for doing it right. Just when you thought your Don C snakeskin cap was a stunt, 50 Cent busts out this black diamond encrusted NY Yankees fitted cap. Had to throw in the iced out watch for a little extra flavor.
Some more great news in Seattle, the Mariners are making a huge addition to Safeco Field. Not some hall of fame player or anything, but the biggest display screen in the entire league. The display is 201.5 feet by 56.7 feet, making it bigger than the jumbo display at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. It is also ten times the size of the ballpark’s current video screen and has a viewing area of 2,182 42-inch TVs. Click HERE for more info.
The San Francisco Girants have claimed their 2nd world series crown in the last three years. They ended up sweeping the Tigers with a 10 inning game 4 win in Detroit. Click HERE for the full report.
