This looks like one of the coolest things you can have outside of a smartphone with the Instagram app. We’ve heard of the Socialmatic camera before but this one actually prints out your photos to create real life instagrams. Kind of like the modern day polaroid camera.
While Kanye West was out with Kim Kardashian having dinner in Miami, a female photographer approached them and asked about Reggie Bush. This made Kanye mad and he grabbed her camera (never touched her). After the incident the photographer was telling her friends that Kanye West tried to “beat her up”. Not sure what’s going to happen with this but it’s not like it has happened before , here’s a look back at what happened in 2008.
“The Paparazzo Light is inspired by paparazzi pioneer Arthur Fellig (aka Weegee), and it promises to obliterate your usual grainy, washed out photos taken in low-light conditions on your iPhone. Packing a professional lighting punch with a 300 Lumen LED, the Paparazzo Light supplies adjustable brightness using two CR 123 batteries. It will mount onto regular tripods and communicate with your iPhone via an easy app. Its projected retail price is $60 with a current scheduled shipping date is January 2013, if all goes well. Make your paparazzi dreams come true by pledging or preordering yours now via Kickstarter.”
As you may already know, the Summer X-Games just happened and to capture what all went down GoPro gave a camera to a lot of the athletes competing. It’s awesome that we get to see what went down through their perspective. The camera was mounted to cars, bikes, skateboards, and everything else you can think of that is used in the X-Games. Here’s the compilation of footage…
The award-winning Sony Alpha NEX series is due for an upgrade, with Sony’s newly announced NEX-F3. The F3 makes use of an APS-C sensor shared from the NEX-7 that is substantially larger than traditional micro four-thirds sensors. The NEX-F3 will offer a powerful more budget-orientated offering that will utilize the same E-mount lens system, and a very similar body as the current NEX cameras. It will also add a few new features and subtle upgrades like a full 180° tiltable LCD for self-portraits, a built-in flash and a greater versatility in auto shooting modes for novices. Expect an arrival this June._ Source
ADR Studio’s Antonio De Rosa, the Italian designer behind the stunning iPhone 5 mockup released in March, has created yet another concept design, this time of a real-life Instagram camera modelled after the app’s icon.
According to a May 5 post on ADR Studio’s site, this Instagram concept camera offers 16GB of storage, a touchscreen display, optical zoom and WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities.
But what really makes this concept cool are the features that bring the social part of Instagram to life. With its two lenses, one for main capture and another for 3D fliters, webcam applications and QR code-capturing, you can snap and edit pics the way you would using the Instagram app and then post them straight to Facebook. _ Source
Designer Cole Rise decided to take the time and design a little picture of what the Instagram logo looks like. It’s not officially what the logo looks like according to the company but I’d say it’s a pretty good guess. Thought this was a pretty cool picture because of the creativity to even think of what the back might look like.
“Italian luxury auto maker Ferarri teamed up with Swedish camera manufacturer Hasselblad for this stunning, limited edition H4D-40 Camera. Limited to only 499 units, finished in Ferrari’s signature colorway, the camera comes with an 80mm lens and an exclusively designed and engineered glass display box.” _Source
Had no idea what this was for at first but now it makes sense. The Red Pop is an addition to the iPhone that lets you operate it like a regular camera. Pretty cool to have this since you won’t have to worry about pressing the on screen button and keeping the camera steady. Goes for $75 and you can purchase it here.
