following from matt w. moore (MWM graphics)
my role was to create a robust graphic asset library that the good folks at attik then refined into a visual identity system (VIS). this VIS was then passed along to agencies around the world to work with for their regional campaigns.
the first phase of art was to create this hyper detailed, abstract rendition of COCA COLA LONDON 2012. from this master file we extracted dozens of ‘moments’ that became the graphic asset library._ Source
Seattle Times reports that veteran police officer Richard F. Nelson was booked on drug charges at 4:16 AM this morning. According to what I’ve gathered, the dude was buying crack. Here’s what Seattle Times had to say about the incident.
“A veteran Seattle police officer was booked into the King County Jail early Thursday morning on suspicion of a drug offense, jail records show.
Richard F. Nelson, 50, was booked at 4:16 a.m. and released on his own recognizance about a half-hour later, according to records. No details were available, and Seattle police were unavailable for comment.
A source told The Times that about four months ago another officer notified his boss about Nelson possibly using crack cocaine. The officer, at least twice, saw Nelson take crack cocaine rocks from a drug investigation, the source said. The officer confronted Nelson then took the issue to his bosses.
Seattle Police Chief John Diaz has called a news conference for Thursday, but the department provided no details on what would be announced.
Nelson joined the department on Sept. 4, 1990. He works in patrol operations in the South Precinct.
Dan Donohoe, spokesman for the King County Prosecutor’s Office, said that they’re aware of the investigation and of Nelson’s arrest. But, he said, that a case has not yet been referred to his office.”
QUICK UPDATE: The officer was just found dead from a self inflicted gun shot wound. To read more on the matter, click here.
