That’s a pretty thorough collection you’ve got there Nate. Apparently he’s been collecting J’s since he was 7 years old and is at about 150 pairs. This must be just a small portion of the entire thing.

Unfortunately, not too much is known about this collection yet but what we do know is that it exists. Being that Oregon goes hand in hand with Nike, they get perks like this one and have both the Jordan III and IV made for them. If there was a release date we’d let you know, but nothing for now. Some people would oppose putting this up, but Riff Raff is just way too funny of a dude not to give any attention to. The fact that he dropped this mixtape on 12/12/12 is pretty hilarious too. So hit the link below if you want some very eccentric music on your iTunes.
Swatch is a such a slept on brand. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my G-Shocks, but Swatch has been a classic timepiece designer since the 80s with so many iconic pieces. Today, September 14th and tomorrow the 15th, TimeCrafters at the Park Ave. Armory will be showcasing the Blum collection along with introducing the Blum Collection Book for purchase. It’s worth over $6 M’s!
The Blum Collection is one of the largest collections of Swatch watches in the world, which reflects the outstanding story of Swatch. It was sold at a historical amount of USD 6,618,560. The current owner of the Blum Collection, a mainland Chinese collector that wishes to remain anonymous, graciously let Swatch use the collection for exhibition purposes for a limited amount of time.
The Blum Collection was assembled over many years by Swiss businessman Peter Blum and his wife Linda, passionate collectors of Swatch watches since the brand’s early days. The exceptional assembly comprises 4,370 elements, including a large number of prototypes, hybrids and production variants never brought to market. Many of the prototypes date from the extraordinary period prior to commercialisation of the first Swatch watches in the early 1980s, and are thus extremely rare. Among the most interesting and sought-after by collectors are a number of prototypes designed by the American artist Keith Haring, as well as the artist’s legendary Swatch watches Modele avec Personnage, Milles Pattes, Serpent and Blanc sur Noir. Additional rarities include Swatch watches created by artists Mimmo Paladino, Alfred Hofkunst and Sam Francis.
The TimeCrafters exhibit will be open to the public on September 14th and 15th from 10AM – 8PM.
Park Avenue Armory 643 Park Avenue (between 66th and 67th Streets) NYC
If you can’t attend, be sure to check out the Blum Collection book available here: http://bit.ly/BlumBook
Awesome surprise when you find a sawbuck in an old sports coat, right? Imagine finding stacks of old baseball cards in mint condition that could net you $3 million.
That’s exactly what happened to Karl Kissner of Defiance, Ohio (yeah, I like the name too).
While cleaning his grandfather’s attic, Kissner came across some Hall of Famers Ty Cobb and Cy Young. But then came the Big Find: a box of a rare cards issued around 1910 in near mint condition.
“It’s like finding the Mona Lisa in the attic,” Kissner to the AP.
“After experiencing an arguable renaissance in popularity throughout the last year, Givenchy embraced the dichotomy of sex and religion in this latest showing. Design head Riccardo Tisci‘s integration of the two powerful and controversial themes manifested itself through saintliness and sin. Blending prominent imagery with a mixture of classic and progressively tailored pieces, this most recent collection picks up where past Givenchy collections left off. Most notably offered are a series of jackets featuring elongated coattails, sandal options, sheer printed tops, and an additional assortment of graphic pieces.”
The Versace 2013 spring/summer collection arrives with a range of tailored looks befitting of a modern gladiator. The show opened with a bare-chested, broad-shouldered model sporting a thick gilded warrior’s belt, wrestling trunks and ankle high centurion sandals fashioned from sporty sneaker fabric. Adding reflective metallic material, sleeveless blazers and shocking florals to yet more bling, the Italian designer completes her impressively manly collection with a legion of catwalking warriors._ Source

A lot of us may know Jeremy Scott working with Adidas mainly on shoes, but now he’s getting set to drop an apparel collection also. This collection will be out for fall/winter 2012 and is very highly anticipated. For more information than we can give you click HERE.
Even though these kicks run for a lot of cheddar, I still thought they were pretty awesome. The shoes above and below are from the Valentino 2012 Spring/Summer collection. Prince ranges anywhere from $400-$800 a pair so that could be a little tough to afford. Just thought the designs were the best part. For more information on their line click here.
