These might be some of the coolest uniforms we’ve ever seen. Northwestern will wear these on the 17th when they play Michigan to increase awareness for the wounded warriors project. Click HERE for more info.
During the Michigan vs. Notre Dame halftime yesterday, Eminem stopped by the booth to preview his new music video for Berzerk. Definitely one of the more awkward interviews in Em’s career, but it’s all good. Below he previews the video and talks about his next album “MMLP2″.
The Crimson Tide have topped the Preseason Coaches’ Poll, receiving 58 of 62 first place votes. Ohio state followed behind them at number two, with Oregon at number three, Stanford at number four, and Georgia at number five. Football season is getting close!
Playing football for the University of Oregon definitely has it’s perks. One of them being a $68 million dollar football complex complete with a barber shop, a two story movie theater with 170 seats, 64 55-inch tvs in the lobby, completely personalized lockers in a state of the art locker room, and oh yeah, some football fields. Goodness gracious.
These will be worn for the 2013 Spring game by the Oregon Ducks. Once again they have the coolest and most innovative helmet designs in the entire NCAA. Can’t wait to see what other helmets they’ll be wearing during the actual season.
Stacey Coley is one of the best wide receivers in the nation and committed to the University of Miami today, but really he just pulled off the coolest stunt ever and committed to Swag University according to his hat. It’s a tradition to always rock the hat of the school you will be attending as a top recruit and Coley threw on a Miami colored hat that read “Swag”. Good for him.
Wow, just when we thought this story couldn’t get any crazier… it does. Roniah Tuiasosopo (the man behind the Manti hoax) recently appeared on the Dr. Phil show and ended up telling him that the reason for the entire hoax was because he was deeply in love with Te’o. Dr. Phil then went onto asking Roniah if that means he is gay and he replied “When you put it that way, yes”. He then caught himself and said “I am confused.” This story just keeps getting crazier as time goes on, can’t wait to see the full episode. Click HERE for more info and the full story.
For the fourth year in a row, Under Armour just released their annual “Freedom” jerseys for both Boston College and Hawaii. These jerseys help benefit the Wounded Warrior Project by raising awareness. Boston College will hit the field in these on October 27th when they play the University of Maryland and Hawaii will wear them against UNLV on November 24th. Click HERE for more pics and info.
For the most part this is what everyone has always wanted in college football, a playoff system. Well it’s finally about to happen in 2014. Sure we have to wait a couple of years but it’s nice to see that people are starting to think in the right direction. May the best team win, that’s how it always should be in all sports.
CHICAGO (AP) College football has always relied on polls and bowls to crown a national championship. It is an inexact science that has left many fans frustrated and wondering why they can’t settle it on the field – like every other sport – with a playoff._ Source
Oh man! This has to be one of the funniest/strongest statements ever made in college football recruitment. Illinois native Logan Tuley-Tillman was already committed to play for the Michigan Wolverines next year, but Urban Meyer kept pursuing the kid to come and play at Ohio State. So he decided to make it very clear that he will not be considering anything Ohio State has to offer by Tweeting a picture of the burning recruitment letter. Hopefully they stop asking him to play there at this point.
