Well you know Dane Cook is washed up and done in comedy when he’s resorting to jokes like these ones for attention. He has a stand up show yesterday at LA’s “Laugh Factory” and said the joke below during his set. Not the best way to get some laughs and way too soon to say anything about this horrific tragedy.
“I heard that the guy came into the theater about 25 minutes into [The Dark Knight Rises],” Cook’s joke began, “And I don’t know if you’ve seen the movie, but the movie’s pretty much a piece of crap. Yeah, spoiler alert. I know that if none of that would have happened, I’m pretty sure that somebody in that theater, about 25 minutes in realizing it was a piece of crap, probably was like, ‘Ugh, fucking shoot me.’”
Warner Bros. has officially made a donations to the victims and families affected by the Colorado theatre shooting. No amount has been announced but they did donate through Colorado’s givefirst.org program. We’re sure it was a large amount and this is a great move by Warner Bros.
Not much to say about this video besides that James Holmes looks like one crazy man dozing in and out of consciousness while on the stand.
This is James Holmes and he is the shooter that unloaded rounds and rounds of bullets in a Colorado movie theatre last night at the premiere of the new Batman movie injuring 38 people and leaving 12 dead. He was a student at the University of Colorado studying medicine, the photo was released today by the school. After being arrested Holmes also admitted to having explosives in his apartment which was booby trapped when the bomb squad arrived. We keep the families effected by this shooting in our thoughts and prayers, no single person should ever have to go through something like this.
“A heavily armed gunman attacked an Aurora, Colorado, movie theater early Friday, tossing tear gas before opening fire on the terrified audience and killing 12 and wounding 38, authorities said. The theater was showing the new Batman movie, “The Dark Knight Rises.” Click HERE for more info.
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey spent the holidays in Aspen, Colorado recently and while there Cannon experienced a kidney failure. Here’s what Mariah Carey had to say about the incident.
“This is us in the hospital – role reversal; Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are.
We’re trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. They tried to kick me out of the hospital but here I am pon de bed with Mr. C.
We’re doing OK but we’re “straaaaaanded in Aspen”. #DramaticDivaPlace (I know, we could be in a lot worse places) but the truth is as long as we’re together, we’re OK. I’m not trying to make light out of the situation because it’s a serious moment that’s very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers. LYM”
