For all your aspiring clothing line designers out there, starting a brand can be very tough for some people. Some don’t know how to approach it, where to start, what connections to make. The most important thing that stood out after reading all of Nicky Diamonds’ Tweets is always “Do You”. A lot of people get caught up in doing what other brands do and get lost in the original message they were trying to push. As you know here at Rich Kids we’ve always been about “Rich is not what you have, it’s who you have beside you” and we will keep pushing that message until the wheels fall off. Always remember to never give up on whatever message you are trying to push in your brand and don’t worry about finding a bunch of investors to start. As long as your message is strong and you are real about it at all times, success will find you. Here’s what Nicky Diamonds had to Tweet last night about all of this.
Now this post isn’t an original idea. I was looking through Complex today and saw that they did a little breakdown of what streetwear Curren$y has wore throughout his career. Thought I would take a couple of their examples and post them on here. Curren$y has always been known for helping get smaller clothing brands off the ground so here’s a brief history of what he’s worn. All material credited to Complex.
