You already know Diddy’s about to come out with a song that says something about being on this list AGAIN. He beats out Jay-Z for the #1 spot at an estimated worth of $580 million. Most of that money comes from his very generous deal with Ciroc Vodka.
Forbes just put out another list and this time they tap into the hip-hop scene. Dr. Dre is obviously at the top of the list making $110 Million mainly from his sale of Dre Beats headphones to HTC. Diddy came in 2nd making $45 million in 2012 and Jay-Z with $38 million. Here’s the full list…
1. Andre “Dr. Dre” Young ($110 million)
Dr. Dre was the only hip-hop celebrity to make Forbes’ top 5 list this year not only through music production, but mainly because of his headphones. Dre Beats made the doctor $110 million dollars in just one year because of HTC buying them out. Now that’s a power move.

Forbes always does a great job of breaking down how much everybody in hip-hop makes and today they did not dissappoint by releasing this list. It is the 20 richest rappers alive list and you’ll be surprised to see some of the names on there. Rick Ross starts off the list at $25 million and Diddy finishes it off at $500 million.
