This NBA season was full of huge dunks, there’s no denying that. Even though the dunk contest doesn’t showcase great dunks anymore, this highlight reel sure does. So here’s the best dunks from the 2012-2013 season!

So glad this highlight reel came out to showcase just how well Lebron played the other night against the Hornets. After losing to the Bulls and ending a 27-game winning streak, he was so fired up that he ended up scoring 26 points in less than 6 minutes. You can see the crowd was going wild for him even though it was an away game, 7/7 from three also.
Not sure who put this video together from the game the other night, but whoever it was, great job! Here’s a little recap of what went down in New York when the Knicks faced the Miami Heat. Mainly a Lebron James vs. Carmelo kind of thing. Then below that we’ve also got a video from way back just to show how long these two have been going at it (high school).
It’s weird to look back and think that Michael Jordan is already 50 years old. It seems like it was just yesterday when he was winning back to back championships and destroying every team in the NBA. There’s not much more that we could say that every other blog or news source hasn’t already said about MJ. He is clearly the best player to ever play basketball and will always set the bar for the player to be better than. Not only is he a basketball God, but Jordan has also established hands down the most successful basketball shoe in the fashion world. Exclusive Jordan drops are always very highly anticipated and his kicks work with pretty much any outfit. You see the madness when a new shoe comes out, this man has clearly done it all. So to celebrate Jordan’s 50th birthday here are some of his best highlights and kicks! Enjoy.
In other sports news… James Harden left Jrue Holiday dazed and confused after hitting him with one of the meanest crossovers this season. Between the legs and behind the back? Why’d he have to do him like that though?

Don’t you hate how good these guys are together? Well we love it. Check out this amazing double alley-oop play from them last night against the New York Knicks.

Tale of the Tape:
The Heisman Trophy is the most prestigious award in all of sport, hands down. Winning the Heisman Trophy is not a story that comes to an end with the season; it is an open-ended recognition of some of the most superior athletes of all time. This award is not given to the player with merely the best record nor the most impressive stats (while these are two very important factors in determining the winner). Rather it is given to the player who proves throughout the season that he is a men among boys, displaying ability at the college level that you could only dream of doing in pick-up games at recess as a young boy. He makes a play or two a game that leaves you gawking at what is unfolding before your eyes thinking ‘I didn’t know the human body was capable of doing such things’.
Until mid-season, it seemed that nobody was going to win the 2012 Heisman Trophy, but it unfortunately was going to be simply given to the player that was most suited. This was until we all were exposed to the red-shirt freshman phenomenon that is Johnny Football. Busting into the national scene like a bat out of hell, Johnny ‘Football’ Manziel made football fans everywhere fall in love with him. In a combination of showmanship and success, breaking the record for SEC all-purpose yards in a season, beating both Tim Tebow and Cam Newton (2007 and 2010 Heisman Trophy winners respectively), Manziel became the frontrunner for this year’s award. This Saturday, I believe a freshman will hoist the bronze statue for the first time, as Johnny Manziel forever makes his mark in sport history as the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner.

“Breakin’ankles” is obviously just a statement for getting crossed over really bad, but this one actually looks like Pierce’s ankles could have broken. Jameer Nelson put in work with this move.
Well this is a great way to start off the season for the Miami Heat. If you watched the game then you know that Miami beat the Celtics 120-107 and Lebron James had 26 points and 10 rebounds. Dwyane Wade also added 29 points and Ray Allen scored 19 off the bench. Here’s the huge dunk that Lebron threw down during the game to let everyone know that the NBA is back!
