Never sleep on Earl Sweatshirt. Even though the kid doesn’t make your typical club bangers that everyone is attracted to, he’s one of the best lyricists out. Here’s his new track “Pre” which has been receiving a lot of attention online today. Odd Future in the building. WOLF.
Jimmy Kimmel had one hell of a show last night especially having Childish Gambino as the musical talent. His new album “Because the Internet” is a masterpiece. Pick that up if you haven’t yet. Here’s his performance of “Crawl”.
Here’s an odd couple that we wouldn’t expect to see together around the holidays. Wiz Khalifa and Tom Hanks. Seriously though… who would’ve thought of these two together on TV? It’s pretty dope if you ask me. Check out their full segment on Jimmy Kimmel below.
With the Grammys being the talk of the town, you had to expect Kanye to have some kind of problem with it. Here’s a full 20-minute rant and around the 9:53 mark he starts to talk about the Grammy nominations and how it’s bullish*t that he didn’t get the “Album of the Year” nomination. He did however pick up “Rap Album of the Year” and “Best Rap Song” nominations.
Tyga brings out all the jewelry he owns for the cover of this one. If you’ve followed his career closely, these “Well Done” mix tapes are always pretty dope. Here’s the 4th installment.
Whoa… that felt cool. Both Macklemore and Jay Z in the same title referring to Grammy nominations. We can’t make this stuff up. Jay Z is nominated for nine and Macklemore for seven. Sounds like they’ll both be taking home some hardware for sure. Congratulations to the both of them.
It sounds like Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre have been in the lap cooking up some serious heat. We only get a snippet of this new track in the commercial, but can’t wait to create the rest. Definitely an awesome campaign and if that would be dope if that was an actual studio.
Even though it’s Jay Z’s birthday today, it’s also the anniversary of the death of the late great Pimp C. So Jay takes a verse from him and throws it on a “Tom Ford” remix. Listen below.
There’s no arguing that Jay Z is one of the best rappers to ever pick up a microphone, if not THE best. He’s also a great businessman starting Roc Nation, Roca Wear, his own sports agency, and so many more businesses that a lot of people are unaware of. He is one of the most influential people of our generation and feel more than blessed that he has been part of the Rich Kids Brand movement wearing the “Hooligans” sweatshirt to Brooklyn Nets games twice now. We appreciate you big homie and wish you nothing but the best on your 43rd birthday! Here are some of Jay Z’s greatest moments and music videos via YouTube.

There are honestly so many moments that we could post, but that would probably take up the entire work day. Hov is clearly the best to do it in both business and music. He could go out on top right now and say that he’s done it all but the best part about Jay Z is that he’s always looking to do more. Always looking to give back and give the people a great product over and over again.
