Even though it’s Jay Z’s birthday today, it’s also the anniversary of the death of the late great Pimp C. So Jay takes a verse from him and throws it on a “Tom Ford” remix. Listen below.
If you remember, Jay Z held a “Made in America” concert not too long ago and had just about everybody and their mother come out to perform. Well nobody’s mom performed, but you know what I’m saying. In the meantime, they made a movie out of it. Here’s the trailer.
It’s probably no surprise that Tom Ford has been pretty popular in the search engine world since Jay Z dropped the song last month. The crazy part is just how much of a spike it caused. Yahoo is reporting that searches for Tom Ford are up 155% over the last month. Looks like Tom Ford owes Hova a nice dinner or somethin’.
After going to see Jay Z live in concert I’m pretty much going to blog anything that comes out from him, as I should since he’s a master genius when it comes to this music bizz. So stoked to finally get some visuals from the album with this “Picasso Baby” music video/short film. Even his music videos aren’t on some basic sh*t. Everything is done to perfection. Check it out below.
Who’s the best person to ask about a pregnancy rumor? Well probably the potential father. In this case we have Jay-Z answering the question of whether or not Beyonce is pregnant once again. According to him the rumors are false via E-mail to Hot 97′s E-Bro.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen one of these so it’s about time Kanye releases another behind the scenes look at the Watch The Throne tour. For this one they were in NYC performing at Madison Square Garden. Check it out…
The Watch the Throne tour will always go down in history as one of the greatest hip-hop tours ever, hell… one of the greatest music tours ever. Here’s the 9th installment of “Watch the Throne: Backstage” giving you an inside/behind-the-scenes look into the world of Hova and Ye.
Jay-Z was recently spotted taking a stroll on the streets of NYC and was wearing some Jordan Son of Mars “Pop Art” sneakers which were released on the 3rd of March this year.
Okay this has really gotten out of hand but I guess I can’t say anything until I’ve been to the show. Apparently the “Watch The Throne” duo has upped their “Ni**as in Paris” encore to 10 times! If they’re doing the entire song that’s around 34 minutes of just one track. I’m interested to hear feedback from people seeing if they like this repetition or not. Either way it’s Kanye West and Jay-Z so you can’t really complain. Here’s the 10 time footage.
New cover with one of the hottest names in the game (J.Cole) will be on newsstand Tuesday, November 29th. This one is definitely worth picking up.
