We do “Studio Time” to showcase what these rappers do when they’re working and putting out the hits that we all know and love. This studio session really stood out to me, great New York rappers all in one building putting in work. Here’s Cardiak, Cory Gunz, and Fabolous in the booth.
I feel like I’ve done so many posts on people being in the lab with Pharrell lately, guess he must be the one to go to. This time around he did some work with Justin Bieber and Astro, the kid rapper that got votes off X-Factor. Bieber is currently working on his album “Believe”.

So I guess Lil’ Wayne got a little too sick and had to visit the doctor. According to Dr. Dre’s protege Slim the Mobster, he was in the studio with Lil’ Wayne the other day. When in the world will Detox drop? That’s the real question here, hopefully Tunechi ends up on there.
Looks like these rappers are finally starting to learn from the NBA and are bringing all their talents together. The image above is of Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Reek Da Villian, and Busta Rhymes all working in the studio together. Pharrell has also been seen working with Wiz Khalifa recently on his new album coming out sometime this year. Here’s some more pics.
I have a feeling that the Carter IV is about to be huge, want to know why? Lil’ Wayne isn’t just going in the lab with the hottest acts out, he’s goin in there with some of the best hit makers of all time. Sure Ashanti only had a few hits, but she took them all the way to the top and working with a dude like Weezy I’m sure they can create something spectacular. They could have also been working on Ashanti’s new album, either way I’m sure it will be a hit.
Looks like Rozay is back on his grind in the studio and this time it’s with super producer DJ Toomp. I like how in the beginning he just smokes and vibes out to a beat for ten minutes straight, searching for something I guess. Here’s the footage.
