This news is really fresh and all the details aren’t there yet but apparently two explosions went off near the finish line at the Boston Marathon. Witnesses said several victims lost limbs in the area being evacuated. Many of the injured appeared to be spectators. Click HERE for more info.
As you have probably heard already, Rick Ross has been dropped from Reebok after controversial lyrics about rape and several protests outside the Reebok headquarters. Here’s what he had to say about the whole deal.

Before I am an artist, I am a father, a son, and a brother to some of the most cherished women in the world. So for me to suggest in any way that harm and violation be brought to a woman is one of my biggest mistakes and regrets. As an artist, one of the most liberating things is being able to paint pictures with my words. But with that comes a great responsibility. And most recently, my choice of words was not only offensive, it does not reflect my true heart. And for this, I apologize. To every woman that has felt the sting of abuse, I apologize. I recognize that as an artist I have a voice and with that, the power of influence. To the young men who listen to my music, please know that using a substance to rob a woman of her right to make a choice is not only a crime, it’s wrong and I do not encourage it. To my fans, I also apologize if I have disappointed you. I can only hope that this sparks a healthy dialogue and that I can contribute to it.”
Looks like all those women petitioning outside of the Reebok store in NYC made something happen and Rick Ross has officially been dropped from Reebok. Here’s the company’s official statement about the decision.
“Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so. While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse.”
Gucci Mane! You have to stop getting behind bars and start spitting more of them. Makes no sense to be doing all these irresponsible things with so much money. Gucci has been indicted on assault charges after striking a man in the head with a champagne bottle last month when being asked for an autograph. He’s been denied bail and has been sitting in jail since late last month. No word yet on when he’ll get out, especially with prior charges on his record.
Talk about a YouTube sensation getting to the top faster than most. Apparently Kate Upton and Diddy were seen “sucking face” recently and could be dating. This is one couple we did not see coming especially because of Diddy and Cassie’s recent relationship. This could be one crazy rumor but there’s also way too much evidence proving it true. And there you have it. After a crazy tournament of upsets and bracket busters, Louisville has been crowned national champions beating out Michigan 82 to 76. Seattle’s very own Peyton Siva contributed with 18 points and 5 assists. Louisville’s top performer was Luke Hancock with 22 points. This win is especially special because of what happened to Kevin Ware with one of the worst injuries in sports history. Congratulations to Louisville on a tremendous win and season. Looks like the movie Gods are blessing us again because news just surfaced that former SNL buddies Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell are already working on a new movie together. McDonald’s, like all other fast food restaurants, is starting to take a healthier approach when it comes to improving their food. On April 22nd Micky D’s will be replacing their classic Egg McMuffin with a Egg “White Delight” McMuffin. According to The Daily Meal “The egg whites are cooked free-form on the griddle with a spatula, and will join a slice of American cheese and Canadian bacon on a whole-grain English muffin. Egg whites will also be made available on all the other breakfast sandwiches the company offers.” The sandwich is 250 calories which is 50 less than the original.
