Looks like Jaden Smith has gathered enough fame and fortune for himself that he feels comfortable enough to leave the nest and has requested to be emancipated from Will and Jada Smith. When they asked him what he wants for his 15th birthday he simply asked to be emancipated so that he can get his own place. This is what Will Smith had to say about the situation…
“I know if we do this, he can be an emancipated minor, because he really wants to have his own place, like ooh. That’s the backlash. On the other side, if kids just want to have command of their lives, I understand.”
Guess there’s no need to argue, because in this case parents just DO understand.
