If you didn’t notice last year, D. Wade and Lebron James were always yelling at Mario Chalmers for messing up plays, especially Lebron. It got so bad that Chalmers actually requested for them to tone it down. So here’s what Lebron James had to say when asked about Chalmers’ request.
“If he’s grown up in the last year, then it will tone down,” ”It’s that simple…I don’t do it just to do it. He messes up sometimes. But, he comes through for me, though.”
So we’ll see how it goes when the games start, at least he’s just giving him some constructive criticism.
Now that I think about it this post is only going up because I am a huge Lebron James fan, but as you saw today the Heat took out OKC to win game 4 104 to 98. Lebron James lead Miami with a near triple double scoring 26 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and dishing out 12 assists. Some might say he played the ultimate game, giving the ball first and scoring when necessary. Dwyane Wade and Chalmers both added 25 points to the total establishing a new big 3 for this game. On OKC’s side Westbrook probably had the best game with 43 points, 5 assists, and 7 rebounds, Kevin Durant also added 28 points. What looked like a great start for the Thunder in the beginning (up 15 points) ended up being chased down and surpassed as the Heat moved on to win game 4. Miami is up 3-1 now in the finals and according to the history books no team in the NBA has ever fought their way back to win it all. Looks like the trophy is headed to Lebron for the first time and those critics can finally stop talking about him not having any hardware. Here’s some highlights from the game.
Looks like Lebron James has done it again and was named MVP of the National Basketball League (for the 3rd time in 4 years). Let’s hope this isn’t a curse or anything and it can lead to a championship. They killed of the Knicks pretty easy so hopefully that momentum can keep moving.
MIAMI — Heat forward LeBron James is the NBA’s MVP for a third time, putting him alongside some of the game’s all-time greats.
A person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press that James will be announced Saturday as this year’s winner of the league’s top individual honor, and that he’ll be formally presented with the trophy by Commissioner David Stern on Sunday afternoon before Miami hosts Indiana in Game 1 of an Eastern Conference semifinal series. _ Source
So it looks like another aspiring screen writer is going after James Cameron. This time it’s Bryant Moore and he is seeking $1.5 Billion in actual damages and another $1 Billion in punitive damages. Moore claims that he first came up with an idea for Avatar in his screenplays for “Aquatica” and “Descendants: The Pollination”. For more information on the matter click here.
The title says it all, so many guys kill it in this video. My personal favorite would have to be all the stuff John Wall pulled off. Lebron’s head was at the rim every time too. Looking forward to more of these highlights from the actual season, enough with this small side league stuff.
So glad to see that even though there’s a lockout going on my favorite player is still putting out kicks. Here’s a nice little description of the shoe according to uncrate.com.
“The Nike LeBron 9 ($TBA) is, as the name suggests, the ninth edition of King James’ sneaker, and boasts integrated Flywire technology for a secure fit, Hyperfuse construction — a first for a Nike basketball shoe — to create a one-piece upper that’s as lightweight as possible while offering maximum protection. The LeBron 9 also has Nike Pro Combat-inspired padding in the inner collar, and a combination of Max Air 180 and Nike Zoom cushioning for comfort and responsiveness. It drops next month in a limited edition “Cannon” colorway and on NikeiD.com, so you can create your own “Three Quarters and a Bag of Tears” version.”_uncrate.com
Guess all those jokes about Lebron’s hairline can be put to an end now. Apparently this picture was taken not too long ago and it looks like all his hair is gone. Jordan was best as a bald player too so maybe he’s really getting into beast mode now. I’ll let you know if more pictures surface.
Just got done at the gym and when I came home one of my buddies was watching this highlight tape. Pretty much the best game I have seen this Summer. Lebron is dunkin’ like he’s in Akron again. Here it is.
Just thought this video is pretty funny and I should put it up. It’s Lebron James in Barcelona making an appearance at some event and then he’s told to jump off a diving board. Pretty funny how scared he looks to do it, wait until the end.
Kobe Bryant was recently interviewed by the Sun-Sentinel and this is what he had to say when it comes to the criticism of Lebron James.
“I think people need to lay off that kid, that’s what I think,” KB24 said. “I’ve gotten to know him pretty well, playing with the Olympic team, and I think they just need to back off him and just let him play and let him live his life and let him make his decisions and let him mature as a player…It’s tough to be under the microscope like that all the time. So, I would like everybody to just back off of him and just let him play.”
