With a $460 million net worth, we know Jay-Z doesn’t need any money, but he is auctioning off his Brooklyn Nets Jersey (signed) on NBA Auctions. Betting ends October 31st and we’re guessing the proceeds will go to a good cause, current bid sits at $820.
According to Mark Cuban, owner of the team, the Dallas Mavericks will not be retiring Jason Kidd’s jersey because he went to the New York Knicks. He actually added that there is “no chance” this could ever happen. Looks like someone is a bit heated about the situation, mainly because Kidd initially said he would return to the Mavericks. The one isn’t as bad as Lebron going to the Miami Heat, but a lot of bridges were burned in the departure.
Wil Fry is the same guy that made the Nike Air Yeezy 2 t-shirt and now he’s back at it again creating this Brooklyn Nets jersey inspired by Givenchy’s “Birds of Paradise” pattern. He has made it clear that the jersey won’t be for sale and has already gone to a good home. Can’t wait to see who shows up with this at one of the games.
These are the kicks and uniform that Lebron James will be wearing today when Team USA faces Argentina. He will be rockin’ the 2012 Nike + Hyperdunk “Olympics” which were released on June 29th, 2012.
Aaron Curry was recently traded and one fan was very unhappy about it. So he decided to take his jersey, turn on the camera, and make a video of him blowing it up. Here you have it…
Still can’t believe he actually changed his name to “World Peace”. This past weekend Ron Artest stepped out during Lakers media day and showed everyone what his jersey will look like this season. Can’t wait to hear the announcers during games as they will have to call him by his legal last name.
“Wow World Peace is really doing it for them tonight.”
Presidential Swag! This limited edition jersey for our President, Mr. Barack Obama, is being released as limited edition with proceeds supporting his 2012 campaign for reelection. I have to say that I definitely need one of these, and I fuck with a President who is in tune with today’s younger generation. Any sports jersey would be a good look, but clearly basketball is his favorite sport. Salute captain!

Uh oh, looks like Pauly D might be in a bit of legal trouble because of his DJ name. There’s another DJ out there named DJ Paulie from Connecticut accusing Pauly D for stealing his name. He decided to sue him for trademark infringement since their names are so similar. We’ll see how this one turns out, usually these cases never work since Pauly D is so famous already and it’s hard to trace if he actually “stole” the name.
