It sounds like Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre have been in the lap cooking up some serious heat. We only get a snippet of this new track in the commercial, but can’t wait to create the rest. Definitely an awesome campaign and if that would be dope if that was an actual studio.
Justin Timberlake recruits the top names in hip-hop right now and makes one hell of a remix to his stand out track “TKO”. Apparently J. Cole responds to Kendrick’s “Control” verse on this track too. A$AP Rocky and Pusha T also add their two cents.
While in Philly, Kanye West stopped by Power 99 and talked about a bunch of stuff including new projects. We always want to know what the man is up to so it’s good to hear that he has more coming up. He also talks about paparazzi, Kendrick Lamar, the confederate flag, and much more.
Nothing too long here but any verse from Kendrick is a must-listen. So here’s his freestyle while shooting for GQ Magazine. Dope to see Kendrick getting all this praise and fame being GQ’s rapper of the year as a part of their “Men of the Year” issue.
Sure getting the cover of GQ is pretty damn cool, but it’s even better when you’re on the “Men of the Year” issue. Kendrick has had one hell of a year with a platinum selling album, worldwide tour, and that “Control” verse that will remain in hip-hop history as one of the greatest. He put the rap game back where it needs to be, competitive yet fun at the same time. Dope to see him get the cover with mic in hand. King Kendrick.
It’s dope to see these guys all getting along even after Kendrick said he was the king of New York. What people don’t understand is that rap is just like any other competitive sport but at the end of the day a lot of these guys are still good friends. TDE and A$AP Mob talk about this and much more with The Breakfast Club. Check out the interview below!
Terry Richardson has been getting some huge names in his studio for a very long time now. Lady Gaga, Tyler the Creator, Kate Upton, an assortment of other models, Miley Cyrus, and many more. This time Kendrick Lamar stopped by his studio to take some pics. Click HERE to view all of them at Terry’s Diary.
After last night’s performances and cyphers, it’s no surprise that these guys are on the cover of XXL. Definitely some of the best lyricists in the game right now. From left to right we’ve got Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, Kendrick Lamar, and Jay Rock.
French Montana with plenty of special guests.

Future brings out DJ Khaled and Rick Ross:
Here’s the best part about the BET hip-hop awards, the cyphers they put on. As always Rap Radar came through with some great content and posted them up from New York way before anyone else. So take a look at all of the brand new cyphers and let us know who you think did the best job. TDE, Slaughterhouse, A$AP Mob, and many more take their turn.
