It’s been a while since Kobe hit the court for a game, 8 months to be exact. Looks like we’ll be seeing him very soon as ESPN reports Kobe will be playing this Sunday. Hopefully all is well with his achilles and we can see him play out the rest of the season.
Looks like Kobe Bryant is officially going to be a Laker for life after today. He just signed a two-year extension deal with the team and will most likely be there for the rest of his career. Good to see Kobe staying loyal to his team throughout his entire career. It was tough to see Jordan play for the Wizards on his way out. Oh and the deal Kobe signed was for $48 million.
This has got to be one of the funniest things we’ve ever seen. Sure Kobe Bryant is a big deal but as a grown ass man you have to be able to compose yourself. This guy just loses it right away.
This NBA season was full of huge dunks, there’s no denying that. Even though the dunk contest doesn’t showcase great dunks anymore, this highlight reel sure does. So here’s the best dunks from the 2012-2013 season!
Even though we’re not the biggest Laker fans over here, you still gotta give credit to one of the best players to ever hit the court. It’s tough to see Kobe Bryant in this state knowing that he thinks this is the biggest disappointment of his entire career. Here’s what he thought of everything that happened after the game, this reporter is ridiculous for asking if he will play through the injury.
There’s been a lot of talk about when Kobe Bryant will finally call it quits and announce his retirement. After an interview with NBA.com recently, it sounds like he’s still planning on retiring after next season. It seems as if his body is taking quite the beating just to play every night. Here’s what he had to say…
“We’ll talk,” Bryant said after piling up 19 points, 14 assists against one turnover and nine rebounds while playing all but 23 seconds of the 103-98 victory over the Kings at Sleep Train Arena. “I’ll talk to my family and stuff and really see if I want to continue to sacrifice as much as I’m sacrificing right now. I’m putting my body through a lot to just try to get ready to play every single night. To do what I’m doing right now, it’s not easy. I’ll tell you, it’s taken a lot of commitment.”
Is your sense that next season will be your last?
“As I sit here right now, yeah.”
Is there anything the Lakers can say that would make it more likely you played beyond next season?
“No,” Bryant told NBA.com. “It’s my decision. It’s really about what I want to do, if I want to train and be psychotic with my training. That’s what it comes down to. It’s really how I’m feeling physically.”
Looks like all that trying to make it into the playoffs finally caught up to Kobe Bryant as he suffered a serious ankle injury earlier today. X-Rays came back negative in the locker room but doctors say that there’s no telling when Bryant will return to the court. There are only 16 games left in the season and the Lakers just lost their best player, not a good look at all.
Kobe rocked some interesting cheetah kicks on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. These kicks are extremely clowning and no one has a clue to what exactly they are. What we do know is that there are the Nike Zoom Kobe VII “Cheetah Print” editions (down below) out there but still not a clue to correctly identify the kicks he had on Kimmel.

This is interesting, apparently sex.com is offering Kobe Bryant from the dookie ass Los Angeles Lakers $5 mill to compete in a dunk competition against the King.. Who the F%*! is ‘Sex.com’?!?! I actually took a peek and wasn’t surprised, take a look yourself if your’re curious (explicit content)
All I know is their money super long over at sex.com, they can make the two greatest hoopers on the planet challenge each other in a dunk contest.. now that’s ‘napkin money’.
Also take a look at this official press release from ‘sex.com’ to further your confusion…
SEX.COM PRESS RELEASE: March 4th, 2013 – As passionate basketball fans, the team at Sex.com was thrilled to hear about Magic Johnson’s million dollar offer to Lebron James. In hopes of making the 2014 NBA Slam Dunk Contest a historic event, Sex.com has reached out to Kobe Bryant’s agent Rob Pelinka and the NBA to entice Kobe Bryant to participate in the Dunk Contest for the first time since 1997.
Sex.com is offering $5 million to the charity of Kobe Bryant’s choosing for his participation in the 2014 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. However, this offer is conditional. It depends on Lebron James entering the 2014 NBA Slam Dunk Contest with Bryant.
Bryant and James are both members of the NBA’s elite and fans often debate who is the better player between the two. Sex.com wants to ensure that basketball fans get to see the two superstars use their talent and creativity.
“…We at Sex.com feel it is important for the sport of basketball that Kobe and Lebron face-off in the dunk contest and we want to be part of this historic event. The NBA’s best players used to enter. Jordan versus Dominique had us on the edge of our seats. It would be a shame for these exceptional player to let pride take priority over sportsmanship…” says Sex.com’s Director of Marketing J.L. Marcoux.
So we’ve been hearing a lot about this answer recently. Jordan was asked who he would rather take between Kobe and Lebron and said that even though Lebron James dominates the game, 5 championships beats one. Check the video out below…
