It’s surprising to hear that Kreayshawn is even on tour but we’re glad she’s okay. Apparently her tour bus caught on fire Friday night after a generator exploded. Everyone left the scene unharmed and some clothes were burned. This isn’t the first tour bus fire this year, DJ Khaled’s tour bus nearly exploded not too long ago and destroyed everything he owned.
Kreayshawn’s debut album, Something about Kreay, is set to drop next week, and she’ll be releasing a new song every day leading up to the release. This uptempo track features Kid Cudi, and the duo released the song earlier today on Complex. The marching-band sound on the track is pretty dope. The album looks like it might be dope. Gucci Gucci still gets airplay all over, so you never know.

For some reason I had no idea that Kreayshawn had teamed up with 2 Chainz on yet another song, but here’s the video for “Breakfast” which just dropped today.
So as you may know the 2012 XXL Freshmen nominees were just posted not too long ago and there are a lot of good people up for the prize. I’m hoping everyone is voting for Macklemore but also wanted to share who I think will be on the list. The following artists are just the ones that I think will make it in my opinion, but we’d like to hear from you who you also. Last year 11 artists made it so I will base it off that. Here it goes, in no particular order.

3. A$AP Rocky

I think this is a pretty big deal. Just when you think this girl is about to fall off with all the Rick Ross Beef and N-word saying, she’s back on top. Not sure what other hit Kreayshawn will have to offer besides “Gucci Gucci” but I wish her the best. This cover will be on the October/November issue that Complex releases.
So usually when it comes to hip-hop beef, most rappers say they didn’t “mean” to say something or that people read it out of context. Well this time Rick Ross isn’t holding back and according to his last XXL interview, is willing to put 50k on Kreayshawn’s crew. There was a small altercation at the VMA’s between Kreayshawn’s manager and some members of Maybach Music Group. Here’s a little outtake from the XXL article.
He even threatens Kreayshawn, the fledgling Bay Area rapper who called Ross “fake” in a recent freestyle. “I cant wait to slap the shit out of whoever carries her bags,” he sneers. “And I hope it’s her nigga. Dirty bitch. You better know the fuck you talking about. I’ll pay 50K to mess up your whole week.”
Two nights ago at the VMA’s Tyler the Creator was awarded “Best New Artist”, I have no idea why when Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean were in the same category. Honestly Wiz has made way more noise than The Odd Future leader and sold way more albums, not everyone likes Odd Future…but most people will bump a Wiz song no matter what. Big Sean had a huge year too, something is up with MTV and their decision politics when it comes to these awards.
Not only did I have a problem with his win, but more importantly GLAAD didn’t appreciate Tyler The Creator’s victory at all. Here’s the official statement GLAAD put out today.
“Rather than providing simply a larger platform, MTV and other networks should educate viewers about why anti-gay and misogynistic language has no place in the music industry today,” said Herndon Graddick, Senior Director of Programs at GLAAD. “Given Tyler’s history of such remarks, viewers and potential sponsors should refrain from honoring homophobia and in the future look to a more deserving artist.”
Just thought I’d thrown in a photo I came by today. That Louis belt goes hard too.
I’m sure everyone’s heard of the shots Kreayshawn took at Rick Ross last week over Ustream. Well Rick Ross has always been about getting to the bottom of beef and this time he confronted Kreayshawn and her camp at the VMA’s. Nothing crazy went down just a bunch of talkin’ and big dudes standing around. Here’s the footage.
So I saw the video last night, I wasn’t going to post it, but I had to at least give ya’ll a teaser. You can feel free to find the photos on the interwebs somewhere, I’m not going to post it on here. I will however discuss the fact that Kreayshawn’s twitter was hacked and deleted! Crazy..If they want to come get ya they will. Until you’re untouchable(10 passports). Here’s what Kreayshawn had to say.
My twitter got hacked today by some anti-hollywood extremists. They sent out wack ass tweets and promoted their odd message of anti-jew stuff and deleted my twitter.. Oh and they leaked out private photos of me while I was underage. Real nice guys! Spreading child-prono thats cute. VMA’s was insane on top of that. Can I sh*t man?
I ain’t even mad.
