Paris Hilton signs with Cash Money Records

paris

What the hell is going on here? Apparently Paris Hilton just got a record deal with Cash Money Records and is releasing a new album. Last time she released an album was in 2006 and we’re pretty sure nobody listened to it. We love the Cash Money family and everything, but this is such a weird pick up. Let’s brighten your day and throw in a video of Paris Hilton DJing, can’t you just feel how much the crowd loves her?

New Music Tuesday: 5 Albums to Buy Today

daft punk YSL

Tuesdays are kinda my favorite day of the week. Aside from the lull of it being the middle of the work week, there is always the anticipation of some great tunes dropping today. This Tuesday specifically, we have some pretty heavily anticipated albums dropping. Here’s a few we say you must get now!

Daft Punk – Random Access Memories
MI0003515610
Not much needs to be said of this. 8 years we’ve waited for a new studio album from the greatest duo in electronic music history. Daft Punk’s new album, Random Access Memories

French Montana – Excuse My French
MI0003552090
With a slew of successful mixtapes, it only makes sense for us to rock with French. He’s been on every big club hit this year, and he’s got a couple of his own on this album. Check it out.

The National – Trouble Will Find Me
MI0003527830
Here’s a band that just doesn’t put out bad music. The National is back with another awesome album, and they continue to impress.

30 Seconds to Mars – LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS
MI0003524140
Frontman Jared Leto and crew are back with another album this year, following what would be the longest tour ever by a band, that went for over 2 years long. That’s dedication.

Fast and Furious 6 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
MI0003552087
What looks to be the finale of one of the most recognized series in modern memory, and also what looks to be one of this year’s big summer blockbusters, it warrants an album of the same caliber. A compilation album featuring the likes of Ludacris, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, The Crystal Method, Peaches, deadmau5, and so many more, this is a complete soundtrack.

All of these albums are available online and in stores now!

lilwayne

So you know how Rick Ross rapped about drugging a woman and then Reebok dropped their endorsement shortly after because of women protesting outside of the Reebok store in NY? Well now the same thing is happening to Lil’ Wayne and Mountain Dew after he referenced Emmett Till in one of his songs. Till’s family wants Mountain Dew to drop their endorsement due to the lyrics. We’ll see how this one plays out.

Dj Khaled ft. Drake x Rick Ross x Lil’ Wayne: “No New Friends”

khaled

A little late with this one but still worth the post if you haven’t heard the new track yet. Here’s Drake featuring Lil’ Wayne and Rick Ross with “No New Friends”. Didn’t expect Wayne to pop up on this one but you always gotta have him on the Khaled cuts. Major track from Drizzy once again, pretty much “Started from the Bottom” part 2.

wayne

Lil’ Wayne forgot to add a song to his last album, so that’s the reason for this one surfacing. Here’s him and Meek Mill  with “I’m Good”. Weezy spazzes on it, good to hear him goin in like that. Meek recycled.
