Kobe Bryant still retiring after Next Season
There’s been a lot of talk about when Kobe Bryant will finally call it quits and announce his retirement. After an interview with NBA.com recently, it sounds like he’s still planning on retiring after next season. It seems as if his body is taking quite the beating just to play every night. Here’s what he had to say…
“We’ll talk,” Bryant said after piling up 19 points, 14 assists against one turnover and nine rebounds while playing all but 23 seconds of the 103-98 victory over the Kings at Sleep Train Arena. “I’ll talk to my family and stuff and really see if I want to continue to sacrifice as much as I’m sacrificing right now. I’m putting my body through a lot to just try to get ready to play every single night. To do what I’m doing right now, it’s not easy. I’ll tell you, it’s taken a lot of commitment.”
Is your sense that next season will be your last?
“As I sit here right now, yeah.”
Is there anything the Lakers can say that would make it more likely you played beyond next season?
“No,” Bryant told NBA.com. “It’s my decision. It’s really about what I want to do, if I want to train and be psychotic with my training. That’s what it comes down to. It’s really how I’m feeling physically.”
Kobe Bryant out w/ severe ankle Sprain

Looks like all that trying to make it into the playoffs finally caught up to Kobe Bryant as he suffered a serious ankle injury earlier today. X-Rays came back negative in the locker room but doctors say that there’s no telling when Bryant will return to the court. There are only 16 games left in the season and the Lakers just lost their best player, not a good look at all.
Chris Brown debuts new song in Los Angeles
While at Diddy’s party the other night with Rihanna by his side, Chris Brown premiered a new song which sounds like it could be called “Lame Hoes”. Sounds like this one should be a true club banger once it finally drops. Can’t wait for the full CD quality version.
Fight goes down between Chris Brown and Frank Ocean in L.A.
According to TMZ (the breaker of all exclusive/controversial news), Chris Brown and Frank Ocean got into a major brawl outside of a recording studio in Los Angeles. Apparently Chris Brown was at the same studio as Frank Ocean and was attacked by Ocean and his crew while leaving. Brown was at the studio listening to one of his artist’s recording session. On his way out Ocean and his crew blocked Chris Brown from leaving and they started brawling from there. Click HERE for the full story and more info. Police is on the scene RIGHT NOW.

Over here at Rich Kids we believe that “Rich is not what you have, it’s who you have beside you”, and we’re sure Rihanna understands that too. Without her friends and family guiding her and believing in her career, none of this would have been possible. Especially this accomplishment of buying a new mansion in Los Angeles for $12 million.
It is 11,000 square feet, had 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a dining-room with 14-foot ceilings, outdoor barbecue and bar, swimming pool, 4-car garage, and a 6,000 square foot backyard. Not a bad pick up at all.
Police shut down Kendrick Lamar’s show in Los Angeles
When you do a show in your hometown, stuff like this is going to happen. Kendrick Lamar announced that he was doing a secret show in Los Angeles outside of the Staples Center yesterday. He could only get into two songs before the police shut it down because of over-capacity. We’re talking the Staples Center here, where the Lakers play, the outside of that place got too crowded?! Damn the fans really came out for K. Dot.
A$AP Rocky Performs “Cockiness” in LA (Rihanna in Attendance)
Yesterday we got the news that A$AP Rocky will be joining Rihanna on tour, and now we get this video of her coming to his sold out show in Los Angeles. Crowd went nuts when he performed “Cockiness”.
Diddy involved in serious Car Crash
Moments ago TMZ reported that Diddy was involved in a serious car crash in Los Angeles. The driver of his Cadillac Escalade t-boned someone and apparently everyone was complaining about pain including Diddy. Everyone is okay but from the looks of the picture above this was one intense car crash.
