The Miami Heat Demolish the Pacers

Personally I’m a huge Lebron fan so no offense to all the Lebron-haters out there but dude puts in work when it comes down to it, that’s exactly what he did tonight. The final score was Miami Heat winning 115 to 85 and Lebron James walked away with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists (MVP Numbers and almost a triple-double). Paul George was the standout for the Pacers with 11 points (not so great). Dwayne Wade also added 28 points and Shane Battier had 13. The Heat now lead the series 3-2 and look to finish off the Pacers very soon. For more info and video recap click HERE.

All You Need is Love: 51 Point Performance vs. OKC Thunder

Kevin Love is a beast. He ended up scoring 51 points (+14 rebounds) against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but the T-Wolves still lost. Westbrook also scored a career best 45 points and Durant added 40 holding Love and Wolves off 149-140.

Chris Paul calls Pau Gasol Soft to His Face

Besides the highlight from Blake Griffin in a previous post, some funny business went down during the Lakers-Clippers matchup also. After something happened at one end of the court, Chris Paul walks with Pau Gasol and Kobe calling Pau soft, this is what happened next.

Marshawn Lynch’s “Skittles” Cleats

So unless you don’t watch the Seahawks (for some odd reason) then you know that Marshawn Lynch has been all about scoring touchdowns and eating Skittles lately. Skittles went as far as endorsing Lynch by giving him a two-year supply of the candy and a locker room dispenser. Nike now has decided to take it another step further and give him his own “Skittle” cleats which he wore when they played against San Francisco this past weekend. The game didn’t turn out as planned but the shoes looked fresh. Taste the Rainbow.

NBA Finals Game 6 (Currently in the 3rd Quarter)

So as you all know, game 6 of the NBA finals is currently going on and the Mavericks are winning 72-65. Lebron James is still playing very silent and not even trying to take over the game. I see no emotion coming from him and it feels like the King is finally calling it quits. There is still a lot of time left so who knows, maybe the Heat will wake up soon and realize that if they lose this it’s all over. I just wanted to post this to see who you think is going to win? I’ve been a Heat fan all the way through this so I still got the Heat, let’s go!

PS: That fight in the first half was pretty funny too, Chalmers would have gotten smashed on though if it went any further.

Lebron Makes Reporter Look like an Idiot

So as we all know the Miami Heat won game 3 last night to go up 2-1 in the Finals series. A lot of people have been questioning whether Lebron is doing all the work or whether it’s D-Wade. The thing that most people tend to oversee is the fact that basketball is a team sport. Just because Lebron James doesn’t go off one night and D-Wade does doesn’t mean reporters have to keep shifting the weight on who the biggest star is. Here’s Lebron after the game at the press conference answering a rather stupid question about the game. Pretty funny stuff…

Miami Heat Take Game 1 of NBA Finals

Like I said before, the Heat are going to run all over this Dallas Mavs team. Dirk and co. didn’t really have a chance from the start. I love how the Heat always start the game out pretty soft (keepin’ it close) and then turn it on right when it matters. They pretty much toyed with the Mavs the whole time. Did you see those dunks Lebron threw down at the end of the game? That was way too swagged out. So that’s that, the Heat take game 1 in Miami winning 92 to 84. Lebron James lead all scorers on the Heat with 24 pts, Wade had 22, and Chris Bosh ended up with 19. Can’t stop the Big Three in Miami, LET’S GO!

UPDATE: Here’s the “exclamation point”
