This just happened. Michael Jordan, age 50 and wearing jeans, threw down a dunk at his annual Michael Jordan Flight School basketball camp this week at the University of California. Still the GOAT.
Recent Jordan Brand signee Dez Bryant is one of the most talented Wide Receivers in the NFL, but has had his fair share of off-the-field problems. This prompted Michael Jordan himself to sit down and chat with Bryant.
“The only thing he told me was ‘stay out of trouble,’” Bryant said after Cowboys’ practice yesterday. “Hearing it come from him…He is a strong voice. His opinion matters.” Simple and to the point from MJ.
Dez continued to say, “It just adds fuel to trying to do things great at all times,” Bryant added. “That’s something you don’t want to mess up. Now, I do pay attention to that, just because of the fact of who he is and what he is about. Everybody knows Michael Jordan is about his business, so that makes you want to be about yours.”
Hopefully this guy figures it out, he could be one of the greats.
Loso describes a funny conversation with his airness.. Nothing like Chamillionair’s story of MJ but it’s a good laugh, check it out down below..
Pamela Smith also wants a paternity test to prove Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds – known as Taj – is Jordan’s son, according US website TMZ.
She claims became pregnant in 1995 after having sex with Jordan who was then married to Juanita Vanoy. Smith wants to retain full custody but wants child support money and for Jordan to pay her son’s medical expenses. She also wants the judge to make Jordan the son’s legal surname.
(Pamela Smith & MJ-1994)
The paternity suit does not describe any alleged relationship between Smith and Jordan and his Airness is due to marry beauty Yvette Prieto in April and has not commented.
Check out the video Taj (MJ’s secret son) posted on YouTube in December claiming Michael Jordan is his dad.
So we’ve been hearing a lot about this answer recently. Jordan was asked who he would rather take between Kobe and Lebron and said that even though Lebron James dominates the game, 5 championships beats one. Check the video out below…
It’s weird to look back and think that Michael Jordan is already 50 years old. It seems like it was just yesterday when he was winning back to back championships and destroying every team in the NBA. There’s not much more that we could say that every other blog or news source hasn’t already said about MJ. He is clearly the best player to ever play basketball and will always set the bar for the player to be better than. Not only is he a basketball God, but Jordan has also established hands down the most successful basketball shoe in the fashion world. Exclusive Jordan drops are always very highly anticipated and his kicks work with pretty much any outfit. You see the madness when a new shoe comes out, this man has clearly done it all. So to celebrate Jordan’s 50th birthday here are some of his best highlights and kicks! Enjoy.
Michael Jordan recently made the remark that he would pick Kobe Bryant over Lebron James to have on his squad because of the ring count. Lebron was asked about that remark earlier today and gave one very strong answers. Rings do not make the player. Here it is…
It’s tough to keep up with all the Jordan releases these days, but this one is a must have. You still have some time to gather your cheese before the “Black Toe” 1′s drop since they’ll be hitting retailers May 25th. Expect these to go for around $140.
Michael Jordan had already said that the 1992 Dream Team would kill the current team USA roster, but he’s done it again now with some more detail. Here’s what Jordan had to say (again) about the comparison…
“I just felt like we had enough size that we could contend with the 2012 team,” he said of the team that was without elite shot blocker Dwight Howard and relied heavily on the Knicks’ Tyson Chandler at center. “I think one of the things the 2012 team lacked was size, you know? We probably would have attacked them from inside and outside, and I think that would have been pretty much solidified [for the '92 team's defense] with shot-blockers as well as perimeter defensive players.”
“In [terms] of how the game is played from an offensive standpoint and a defense standpoint — from a team standpoint — I feel like we were much more solid defensively. We could definitely guard the perimeter and force them to penetrate to shot-blockers, which I felt like would’ve made a big difference with this team in 2012. They only had one shot-blocker. Granted, I know LeBron [James] and some of those guys can still block shots. It’s not the same defense and it’s not the same intensity.”
“Granted, I think those guys are much more athletic than maybe we were at that particular time, but I’d like to think that we were a little bit smarter and well-groomed about playing at that level of basketball,” Jordan said. “So in all honesty, I don’t think we would’ve had any problems with them, as much as they think they probably would’ve given us a lot more difficulties. I think our team would’ve been a lot better in terms of all-around basketball game.”
We’re pretty sure all the negative people out there can stop talking sh*t about Lebron at this point. Him and Team USA just defeated Spain to take Gold in the Olympics and Lebron is now the only person to get the NBA title, Olympic Gold, MVP, and finals MVP all in one season, along with Michael Jordan. The final score of the game was 100-107 with Kevin Durant leading all scorers by dropping 30 points.
