Now this is one impressive catch, those cups aren’t all that wide. Dude catches a foul ball with his beer cup and then takes down the whole thing. Granted that most of it spilled on his shirt, this was still a pretty dope “bro” moment.

Justin Verlander just signed a new contract to stay with the Detroit Tigers that will give him $180 million over the next seven years. There is even an optional eighth year that would push the deal to $202 million. Verlander is now the highest paid pitcher in the MLB, surpassing Seattle’s very own Felix Hernandez who we signed for $175 million this February. Verlander tweeted, “I love this city & the fans – couldn’t be more excited to spend my career here! We’re going to bring a World Series to Detroit!!!”. $200 million can buy a lot of things, only time will tell if it will buy a World Series for Detroit.
Being located very close to Safeco Field, we can feel the excitement coming from the streets right now, King Felix Hernandez just pitched a perfect game and the fans are going crazy. This is the third perfect game this season and the 2nd ever pitched at Safeco Field. ”I don’t have any words to explain this. When Phil Hughes almost had his perfect game here I said I have to have one,” Fernandez said after the game. ”I realized in the third. I was like, wow, nobody on base.” He also added ”My whole family is in Venezuela so nobody is here so I celebrate with all of you,” pointing to the fans. Hernandez threw 113 pitches, 77 for strikes.
There are two things that are great about this picture. For one it was perfectly captured to avoid showing any private parts which makes it appropriate for this website, and two it was taken in front of the perfect sign. “Walk off a hero.”
Now usually this would never happen but this is one lucky man. First of all the first two batters hit homers one after the other and then the same fan catches both of them. The announcer is right, I’d be on a plane to Vegas ASAP.

We’ve all seen it before, the good ole’ shirtless streaker running down the field to get stopped by security. Well this time the guy was tackled by the umpire. Check it out.
The Los Angeles Dodgers thought they were screwed with all the bad financial situations they’ve been in lately, but not any more. Magic Johnson has decided to pick up the franchise and will try and lead them back to a top spot in the league. This transaction became final last night after Magic and several other associates purchased the team for $2.15 Billion. For more information click here.
Well this is a story in a half. Former baseball player Dennis Boyd from the 80′s came out today and admitted being under the influence of cocaine for 2/3 of his games. He was a pitcher on the Boston Red Sox, Expos and Rangers. Here’s what Boyd had to say about his drug use.
“There wasn’t one ballpark that I probably didn’t stay up all night, until four or five in the morning, and the same thing is still in your system,” he told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 in Fort Myers, Fla. on Wednesday. “It’s not like you have time to go do it while in the game, which I had done that…Some of the best games I’ve ever, ever pitched in the major leagues I stayed up all night; I’d say two-thirds of them. If I had went to bed, I would have won 150 ballgames in the time span that I played. I feel like my career was cut short for a lot of reasons, but I wasn’t doing anything that hundreds of ball players weren’t doing at the time; because that’s how I learned it.”
