George Lucas Retires
One of the most criticized filmmakers to ever walk this earth is finally stepping down and has announced his retirement on his website. If for some reason you’re really out of the loop he was the creator of classic/legendary films like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Here’s the official statement…
“I’m moving away from the company, I’m moving away from all my businesses, I’m finishing all my obligations and I’m going to retire to my garage with my saw and hammer and build hobby movies. I’ve always wanted to make movies that were more experimental in nature, and not have to worry about them showing in movie theaters.”
Adele’s “21″ Album Moves 12 Million Copies Worldwide
This week Adele’s Album “21″ has reached 12 million in sales worldwide with a rising total of 12,162,000 copies sold since the release. Analysts say that the album could sell over 13,000,000 copies by the end of this year. Here are the top albums sold in the United States this year.
1. Adele 21 4,420,000
2. Lady Gaga Born This Way 1,893,000
3. Lil Wayne Tha Carter IV 1,668,000
4. Jason Aldean My Kinda Party 1,316,000
