Stream The Great Gatsby Soundtrack Here

The Great Gatsby will debut in theaters next Friday, May 10th. What many today are excited about though, is the release of an album stream from the soundtrack for the summer blockbuster. Featuring the likes of Jay-Z, Beyonce, Andre 3000, Jack White, Coco O. of Quadron, Lana Del Rey and so many more incredible acts, The Great Gatsby soundtrack looks to be one of the most complete albums of the year. You can listen to the entire live stream directly from NPR. This is the first full version of the Andre 3000 x Beyonce redux of the late, great Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black. Kick-Ass 2 Red Band Trailer

This was one of the funniest movies back when the first one premiered, and it sparked an epidemic of real-life copycat superheroes in many cities around America. Hopefully people don’t get the same wild idea after watching the sequel. The red band trailer is pretty intense, looks like it’s gonna be another good one! Check out the Kick-Ass 2 trailer below.

Justin Timberlake x Marcus Mumford

Justin Timberlake and Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons have teamed up for the soundtrack to the new Coen Brothers film, Inside Llewlyn Davis. The movie isn’t due out until this December, so unfortunately we’ll have to wait for a bit to hear the collaboration. It’s still awesome to hear these two are making music together though.

Kevin Spacey wants to play a Bond Villain

Looks like after the recent success of the new Bond film, Kevin Spacey is looking to get in on the action and wants to play a villain in the next movie. Sony has confirmed that they are looking to make another Bond film in 2014 and that Daniel Craig will also be returning as James Bond. Would be awesome to see such a great actor like Kevin Spacey playing the role of a bad guy, here’s what he had to say about it.

“I would hope [Bond producers] the Broccolis agree [that I would make a good Bond villain] and that Sam is going to do the next one,” Spacey said. “That would be a lot of fun. I adore him. I had some of the most seminal experiences of my career with him, both a decade ago with American Beauty and last year with Richard III [at the Old Vic]. It would be sublime to work with him again. It doesn’t surprise me he has had such a big success with Bond.” _ Source

Katie Holmes x Tom Cruise Divorce Final

“TomKat is dead. And by that, we mean Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are officially divorced. The papers were submitted to a New York court Monday, the L.A. Times reports — just 53 days after Holmes first filed for the split citing “irreconcilable differences.” (Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, feel free to follow their lead.)”

“But just like most everything that’s come out of the Cruise/Holmes divorce saga, this latest development doesn’t offer many dirty details. As the Times notes, the settlement has been kept confidential, though as was widely reported earlier this summer, Holmes was seeking sole custody of their six-year-old daughter, Suri, in the divorce. The Daily Mail notes that the couple’s combined fortune was estimated at $275 million US — though again, the stars will not disclose how their wealth will be divided.”

George Lucas Retires

One of the most criticized filmmakers to ever walk this earth is finally stepping down and has announced his retirement on his website. If for some reason you’re really out of the loop he was the creator of classic/legendary films like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Here’s the official statement…

“I’m moving away from the company, I’m moving away from all my businesses, I’m finishing all my obligations and I’m going to retire to my garage with my saw and hammer and build hobby movies. I’ve always wanted to make movies that were more experimental in nature, and not have to worry about them showing in movie theaters.”
