Looks like Rick Pitino is about to get inked up since the Louisville Cardinals just won the NCAA National Championship. He promised his players earlier in the season that he would do it and is sticking to the promise. Can’t wait to see the ink.

Stacey Coley is one of the best wide receivers in the nation and committed to the University of Miami today, but really he just pulled off the coolest stunt ever and committed to Swag University according to his hat. It’s a tradition to always rock the hat of the school you will be attending as a top recruit and Coley threw on a Miami colored hat that read “Swag”. Good for him.
Ronaiah Tuiasosopo tells Dr. Phil he was in Love with Manti Te’o
Wow, just when we thought this story couldn’t get any crazier… it does. Roniah Tuiasosopo (the man behind the Manti hoax) recently appeared on the Dr. Phil show and ended up telling him that the reason for the entire hoax was because he was deeply in love with Te’o. Dr. Phil then went onto asking Roniah if that means he is gay and he replied “When you put it that way, yes”. Being a hot girlfriend to University of Alabama QB A.J. McCarron is working out pretty well for Katherine Webb. Not only is she apparently shooting with Sports Illustrated but we’ve now found out that she will be covering the Super Bowl for Inside Edition. Looks like this Super Bowl is about to be better than most. We got very hot girls covering the game AND Destiny’s Child getting back together? Perfect.

Heisman trophy Finalist Manti Te’o made up a Dead Girlfriend
We’re sure you all know who Manti Te’o is, you know the Notre Dame linebacker that was a Heisman trophy finalist this year only to go on and get smashed by Alabama in the National Championship? Well the same guy was also apparently involved in a year long hoax involving him having a dead girlfriend. The worst part is that his girlfriend “dying” earlier this year was supposed to be a very sad story which was a huge factor in motivating him to do so well. Tale of the Tape:
The Heisman Trophy is the most prestigious award in all of sport, hands down. Winning the Heisman Trophy is not a story that comes to an end with the season; it is an open-ended recognition of some of the most superior athletes of all time. This award is not given to the player with merely the best record nor the most impressive stats (while these are two very important factors in determining the winner). Rather it is given to the player who proves throughout the season that he is a men among boys, displaying ability at the college level that you could only dream of doing in pick-up games at recess as a young boy. He makes a play or two a game that leaves you gawking at what is unfolding before your eyes thinking ‘I didn’t know the human body was capable of doing such things’.
Until mid-season, it seemed that nobody was going to win the 2012 Heisman Trophy, but it unfortunately was going to be simply given to the player that was most suited. This was until we all were exposed to the red-shirt freshman phenomenon that is Johnny Football. Busting into the national scene like a bat out of hell, Johnny ‘Football’ Manziel made football fans everywhere fall in love with him. In a combination of showmanship and success, breaking the record for SEC all-purpose yards in a season, beating both Tim Tebow and Cam Newton (2007 and 2010 Heisman Trophy winners respectively), Manziel became the frontrunner for this year’s award. This Saturday, I believe a freshman will hoist the bronze statue for the first time, as Johnny Manziel forever makes his mark in sport history as the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner.
