Can’t deny that everyone was wondering what in the world Jay-Z was wearing last night when he performed at the “Made in America” music festival. We’ve finally gotten down to the bottom of it and he was wearing a Givenchy t-shirt from their Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Talk about getting clothes way before anybody else.
Don’t throw anything on stage while Kanye West is performing, because if you do he will call you out and let the the entire place know. Here’s an example of what happened in Dublin.
Seems like Lady Gaga hasn’t been performing lately but apparently she got back to the stage and was hit in the head with a metal pool that was part of her set. She suffered a concussion but should be okay according to her team. Here’s some footage of the hit.
So Rihanna made music history again recently by being the only person EVER to be allowed onto the “Watch the Throne” stage. This was in London last night and before her not anyone else besides Jay-Z and Kanye could step foot on there. Here’s some footage of “All of the Lights”.
Some people thought it was very weird, and some thought it was awesome. Yesterday at Coachella during the Dre and Snoop set they used hologram technology to being 2Pac back to life. It was pretty interesting seeing what looked like the ghost of 2 Pac on stage but I think this is something that will start being used more often. We’ll be seeing Bob Marley and Jimmy Hendrix on stage soon.
So this year SXSW really brought out all of the big names in music. You got Jay-Z, Kanye West, Wale, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, MGK, Big Sean, and now Lil’ Wayne with his set. Here’s his entrance.
People just keep hopping on stage with Drake these days. Club Paradise made a stop in Los Angeles the other night and Drake had both J. Cole and Meek Mill help him out. Here’s the footage from that show.
Drake has praied A$AP Rocky ever since the kid laid his first verse so it makes sense that they’re on the same stage together. A$AP brought Drake out while performing in Toronto and the crowd went crazy.

Big Sean and Wale seemed to be in San Francisco at the same time yesterday and got to do a little collab on stage. They performed “Slight Work” and when Big Sean came out everybody went crazy. Here’s the footage.
