Capitol Hill Block Party 2013 Lineup Announced

Seattle’s favorite party is coming back! The Seattle neighborhood of Capitol Hill celebrates it’s yearly block party once again this year in late July, with so many great bands and artists. This year’s lineup has not been fully announced yet, but this first list is already stacked. Artists like A-Trak and Star Slinger join groups like The Flaming Lips and STRFKR in this year’s lineup, that will play at a number of host venues on the hill from July 26th-28th. Tickets are available now at a discounted price from the Official Capitol Hill Block Party Site, along with any other information you need to know. Get yours now before they sell out!

Rick Ross’ “Reebok Classics” Party at Club LIV in Miami (Lebron in Attendance)

Rick Ross brought out everybody for his Reebok Classics party in Miami, even Nike’s Lebron James was in attendance. I wonder if that’s some kind of breach of contract, oh well. New Year’s Eve is right around the corner and if you don’t have any plans already, we want you to come party with us on Monday night at The Social on Capitol Hill. Hell, if you do have plans then change them and come for what’s supposed to be one of the biggest events in Seattle that night. The event is very close to being sold out but there are still some tickets left for purchase. Click HERE to check out all of the available packages. Whiskey Pete will be the main MC for the night running the show along with DJs Major Flavor, FeevGeezy, Dj Charma, Jerry Wang, and many more! Whiskey Pete is described to be “The ‘fat man scoop of electronic music’ on every label and in every genre. At Kingdom, Anything goes, so come prepared for a night of dancefloor destruction.” Here’s a little example of what to expect (video below). The Rich Kids Brand family will be in the Theory Lounge all night with DJ Charma on the 1′s and 2′s. A Rich Experience: Rich Kids Brand 2012 Fall Celebration (Pics & Recap)

If you’re already a fan of our brand page, then you know that the photos from the other night (Thursday the 19th) are already up and man are they entertaining. We’d just like to take this time out to thank everyone that came out and showed support. It was unreal seeing how many people love what we’re doing and believe in our message. We’d also like to thank Vitamin Water for sponsoring the event and 1927 Events in Seattle for letting us use such an incredible venue. Also a huge shout out to Jerry Wang and DJ Charma for providing the music all night, killed it as always. If you were there, thank you once again, it truly means a lot to see all the people reppin RKB. We also held a coat/winter clothing drive through Family Works at the event and a lot of you brought coats to help the less fortunate, that means more to us than words can explain. Just goes to show how much a great community of people can help others because at the end of the day “Rich is not what you have, it’s who you have beside you”. We can’t wait to show everyone what we have in store for the rest of this year and much more to come in 2013.

Fall Launch Party this Thursday (Remember to RSVP)

With our 2012 Fall launch celebration being this Thursday, we just wanted to remind everyone to make sure and RSVP to Hooligans@richkidsbrand.com if you’ve received an invite (not taking any more names after 5 o’ clock on Wednesday). The party will be at 1927 events (1927 3rd Avenue, Seattle, WA) at 8 PM. We are also very proud to announce that Vitmain Water is an official sponsor of this event so be ready for some delicious Vitamin Water infused cocktails. We are also teaming up with FamilyWorks Foodbank and Resource Center for a Fall/Winter coat drive. So if you’ve got some old coats, sweatshirts, or any other fall clothes laying around bring them through to help those in need. Can’t wait to see everyone Thursday night to celebrate the launch of Fall 2012 line. A big thank you to everyone that has been there from the start, this also counts as a celebration of our one year anniversary.
