Food Review: Pizza Hut “P’ Zolo”
So the last time we did a food review was on the new Doritos Tacos at Taco Bell, this time we have the P’ Zolo from pizza hut. This is something brand new that Pizza Hut is offering so we had to try it. To describe it best the P’ Zolo is like the P’ Zone but longer and smaller. It is in the shape of a typical Subway sandwich but does not fold over like one, just bread stuffed with whatever you would get on a typical pizza. The one we tried specifically was the meat lovers P’ Zolo with sausage, pepperoni, and canadian bacon. Adding ranch and marinara sauce for dipping was a crucial game time decision, the marinara complementing it a little better than the ranch. The P’ Zolo is very simple to eat and does not fall apart like some other similar pizza creations. To put it in simple terms, this is a huge hot pocket that actually tastes like a real pizza with better ingredients inside. We highly recommend going out and trying one of these, especially since they’re $3 each, or 2 for $5 (of course we went with 2 of them). Just writing about it is bringing on a craving for another so that’s all we’ve got for you! Hope this helped a little just in case you were wondering what a P’ Zolo is.
Best Commercials from the Super Bowl
Put together a list of the commercials that stood out most during the Super Bowl. Really impressed this year with all of the amazing creative concepts from almost every company. That Acura NSX… woo.
Pizza Hut. Usually they go with showing a bunch of their food and enticing me to pick up the phone and order, but the hip-hop route is always a good one also.
Pepsi. Great use of humor and mega-superstar artist Elton John.
Hyundai. I really liked what they did with the humming. Plus Hyundai never gets a break with their crappy reputation so this is a step up.
Old Spice. Always using Terry Crews in their commercials but there’s nothing wrong with that. Progressive should look into characters like him over Flow.
Doritos. Just funny.
VW. The dog gets skinny and so does the car, the all new sleeker looking bug. Great use of metaphor.
Coca-Cola. Gotta love the Coca-Cola bears, one of the best brand-character developments ever.
Chevy Sonic. Now you can do cool things with your car like kick-flip off a ramp. Rob Dyrdek and Ok-Go cameos.
This movie is about to be unreal.
Skechers is the Hyundai of shoes but this commercial was pretty funny.
E-Trade and their babies, always a hilarious commercial.
This played right before the 2nd half started. Clint Eastwood’s voice really does the job.
Had No idea what this commercial was going to be about until the very end, that’s when it gets funny.
Oikos. I’m just a big Greek Yogurt fan, actually had one during the Super Bowl. John Stamos getting dropped is always funny too.
Bridgestone, how awesome would it be to play with a basketball doesn’t make any noise when dribbling.
Bud Light does it once again. Awesome way of displaying their new slogan “Here we go”.
A dream car, for real life. That’s a pretty cool slogan and anything with Adriana Lima in it is a success.
Galaxy Note. It’s still not an iPhone, but being able to draw on your phone is pretty cool.
Just tell them to go to green hell… and see for themselves.
