Man, Derrick Rose has really had it rough lately. Right when we’re all ready for him to come back and play at his best he gets injured again and has to sit out an entire season. What are we to think? Wait for him again and maybe he’ll come back better than ever? Well that’s what everyone was expecting until he got hurt this time. It’s good to hear though that Derrick Rose himself is still hopeful and has not ruled out playing in the playoffs this season. The Miami Heat are clearly the dominant force in the East with the Pacers, but other than that… what other East Coast team is giving them a run? It would be nice to see D. Rose back at 100% during the playoffs. Guess we’ll just have to wait. Click HERE for the full story.
You can now add God to the list of people compared to Lebron James. When asked in a post game interview if there was anyone scarier than Lebron with the ball in his hands and the game on the line, George Hill stated, “It’s only like one person that’s more scarier than that and that’s God,” Hill said. “I’m sure if we were looking at Him in the face we would be very nervous. I’m sure He could make all the plays that we want people to make. LeBron is a great player, he’s the MVP for a reason, he’s one of the best to ever play this game. He’s a big focal point. We know that when he’s up there probing the floor and looking at everything that we can’t just focus on him, we have to focus on the people around him, because he’s a great play-maker. He has our full attention.”
Since Lebron got the MVP award again this year, Nike went all out and created one of he craziest shoes ever for him. He wore these last night in an unfortunate loss agains the Bulls in game 1. Apparently the shoes blend every single Lebron shoe ever created and will be available at select retailers both in the United States and China. These will go very fast.
We’d never really expect to wake up to a video like this, but you gotta give credit where credit’s due. Carlos Delfino threw down on Kevin Durant last night and he did it with authority. Check out the video below…
As you might already know, this past weekend Jay-Z was seen wearing our “Hooligans” crew during game 1 of the Nets vs. Bulls series. Throughout the weekend we’ve been collecting pics and gifs to present to all of our fans/supporters. Shout out to Jay-Z for rockin’ with us once again, love seeing such legendary figures reppin’ the brand and what we stand for.
This crewneck is currently available on our website in a new Spring colorway, click HERE to get yours before they’re gone.
Shout out to Complex, Rap-Up, The Source, UpscaleHype, and plenty of other huge news sources for spreading the word about Jay rockin’ RK also! Their articles are linked below.
What a great way to start off the NBA playoffs. Jay-Z was spotted at the Nets/Bulls game tonight rockin one of our “Hooligans” crewneck sweatshirts. This isn’t the first time Hov has worn the brand, he was also spotted earlier in the season wearing another “Hooligans” crew at a Nets/Cavaliers game. It’s always dope seeing such legendary/influential people wearing our brand and representing what we stand for, “Rich is not what you have, it’s who you have beside you” (will update with better photo/video as they come in)
For the most part this is what everyone has always wanted in college football, a playoff system. Well it’s finally about to happen in 2014. Sure we have to wait a couple of years but it’s nice to see that people are starting to think in the right direction. May the best team win, that’s how it always should be in all sports.
CHICAGO (AP) College football has always relied on polls and bowls to crown a national championship. It is an inexact science that has left many fans frustrated and wondering why they can’t settle it on the field – like every other sport – with a playoff._ Source
Even though Lil’ Wayne didn’t have the best time at the OKC-Heat game, he still showed up in style. Wayne was spotted court side wearing some Nike Dunk High “Orange/Black” sneakers. OKC ended up winning the game and after Tunechi took to his Twitter to express how he felt.
So when the BIG three’s formed in Boston and Miami let’s just say there was a big difference in how the celebrations went down. Here’s a little video comparing the two.
How sad is it that you’re about to enter the NBA Finals (possibly) and the mayor of your city doesn’t know any of the players? That’s exactly what happens here when Mayor Menino is asked about the Boston Celtics. It’s Rondo bro, not “Hondo”, HA.
