Yahoo buys Tumblr for $1.1 Billion

Looks like the deal that has been talked about all weekend is finally going through. Yahoo’s financial board has approved the $1.1 billion acquisition of Tumblr which will officially be announced on Monday. Yahoo was really the only company going after the blogging platform and still offered such a large amount. Tumblr CEO David Karp will stay at Yahoo for four more years and make sure everything flows the right way. Click HERE for the full story.

NYE 2013 x Rich Kids Brand x Kingdom x The Social

New Year’s Eve is right around the corner and if you don’t have any plans already, we want you to come party with us on Monday night at The Social on Capitol Hill. Hell, if you do have plans then change them and come for what’s supposed to be one of the biggest events in Seattle that night.
