Logic has been on the road recently doing some promo since his new mixtape just dropped and he also stopped by the L.A. Leakers radio show to lay down a little freestyle. Here it is…
I’ve seen some stunner moves in my life, but oh my goodness. Flo Rida just wrapped his Bugatti Veyron in gold. Guess that radio rap money is treatin’ him well. Don’t hate the player, hate the game!
In honor of Father’s Day, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis release a new song representing for all the dad’s working at home. Here’s “Stay at Home Dad”.
These two probably end up in kush comas all the time, so it’s only right to make a track about the situation. Here’s Danny Brown featuring A$AP Rocky with “Kush Coma”.

Mac Miller’s album leaked a couple days ago along with every artist in the game. So here’s his new music video for the title track “Watching Movies” plus a 14 minute freestyle for Tim Westwood.
Well all those predictions about the album leaking early were true along with J. Cole and Mac Miller. I’m still going to buy the album because you have to support great music, but couldn’t help but download the leak. Kanye is mad, he’s very mad, at least that’s what I got from this album. Hot 97′s Peter Rosenberg was also right when he said this is a Kanye West we have never heard before.
Kanye went into the studio with Rick Rubin and they put together sounds that nobody has ever heard before. Right off the bat “Blood on the Leaves” makes you feel like an ultimate warrior going out to kill for your family. Yeezy or shall I say Yeezus really knows how to get you going and is a master of knowing which sounds trigger certain emotions. Some people will disagree with me because we’re too quick to hate on successful people these days, but Kanye jut delivered another masterpiece.
Throwing artists like Chief Keef and King Louie on there might seem questionable, but at the end of the day he’s putting on for Chi-Town and letting those that work hard shine. One song that really does have a College Dropout feel is “Bound 2″, happy melody while boasting about the lifestyle. “Guilt Trip” with Kid Cudi is one of those crazy sound songs that will leave a loop in your head for a while but still a very strong track. Oh and then we have “I’m in it”. Here’s the track you need if you’re having a bad day and looking to say “F*ck the man”. One of the hardest hitting beats on the entire album. We’ve all watched SNL and heard “Black Skinhead”. This has more of a rap/punk sounds to it but you really need to listen to everything Kanye is saying. There’s a reason for this title, very strong messages throughout the entire thing. Try and keep up, the flow is fast on this one. “I keep it 300, like the Romans”. “Hold My Liquor” is where Chief Keef comes in, maybe he really can’t hold it considering he’s only 17 years old. It was dope of Kanye to give the kid a shot on both the “Don’t Like” remix and now this track. Looks like Keef might be moving into the auto-tune/Future stage if he continues with tracks like this one. “I Am a God” is definitely one of my favorite songs on the entire album. He’ll probably get a lot of flack for featuring God on the song but that’s just kind of what Kanye does these days. Clearly God isn’t on the track in any way but there’s got to be some in depth meaning behind it. “Virgil, Pyrex, Don-C snapback”. I’ve given quick descriptions of each track and left some out, mainly because I’m not trying to give too much away and want you to buy the album. Please go into this one remembering that Kanye is still one of the best artists in the world.
Along with Kanye’s album leaking, we’ve got some more G.O.O.D. music today from Pusha T, 2 Chainz, and Big Sean. Here’s “Who I Am”. Love the artwork.

As you may already know, Rick Rubin had a huge part in producing Kanye’s new album “Yeezus”. So here’s what he had to say about the project and his involvement.
When and why did you join the “Yeezus” project?
Kanye came over to play me what I assumed was going to be the finished album at three weeks before the last possible delivery date. We ended up listening to three hours of partially finished pieces. The raw material was very strong but hadn’t yet come into focus. Many of the vocals hadn’t been recorded yet, and many of those still didn’t have lyrics. From what he played me, it sounded like several months more work had to be done. I joined the project because after discussing what he had played for me, he asked if I would be open to taking all of the raw material on and help him finish it.
How would you describe the new sound he was driving for, and how you did you help him arrive there?
He wanted the music to take a stripped-down minimal direction. He was always examining what we could take out instead of put in. A good example would be the song that became “Bound.” When he first played it for me, it was a more middle of the road R&B song, done in an adult contemporary style. Kanye had the idea of combining that track with a cool sample he had found and liked – I removed all of the R&B elements leaving only a single note baseline in the hook which we processed to have a punk edge in the Suicide tradition.
Can you recall a scene from the sessions that might help people understand his method in the studio?
We were working on a Sunday [the same day West attended a baby shower for girlfriend Kim [Kardashian] and the album was to be turned in two days later. Kanye was planning to go to Milan that night. Five songs still needed vocals and two or three of them still needed lyrics. He said, “Don’t worry, I will score 40 points for you in the fourth quarter.” In the two hours before had to run out to catch the plane, he did exactly that: finished all lyrics and performed them with gusto. A remarkable feat. He had total confidence in his ability to get the job done when push came to shove.
Seattle’s very own AyeLogics and Gift Uh Gab team up for one very dope track entitled “Breathe”. Don’t sleep on the hometown talent, definitely something you want to keep an eye out for.
Finally we can put an end to all this madness with 2 Chainz. He never got robbed as you can tell according to the footage below. Some guys rap up on him with guns but he fled and ended up getting away.
