This has got to be one of the coolest commencement speeches ever given. Not only does Jimmy Iovine start things off, but then he brings up Dr. Dre to add a little swag. Plus they donated $70 million to the school to help expand “business of innovation”.

Looks like Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine are trying to help the kids and are donating $70 million to USC in order to create the Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology, and the Business of Innovation. The four year program is set to launch in Fall 2014 and will offer courses in technology, art, design, and marketing. Here’s what USC President C.L. Max Nikias had to say about the donation.
“The vision and generosity of Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young will profoundly influence the way all of us perceive and experience artistic media. Our goal is to ensure that the academy is the most collaborative educational program in the world.”
