The kid’s name is Lucas Marty, that is all we know.
So this guy named Jack Taylor that plays for Grinnell College thought he was never going to snap out of a cold streak, he was very wrong. Dude ended up scoring an NCAA record 138 points by shooting 52-of-108 from the field, 27-of-71 from 3-point range, and 7-of-10 from the free throw line. The final score of the game against Faith Baptist Bible College was 179 to 104. Wow, this was simply amazing, the kid is about to get some heavy media coverage for a while. Click HERE for more info.
Not sure if you’ve seen this already but on March 31st Cristiano Ronaldo scored one of the coolest goals I have ever seen. Real Madrid was playing against Osasuna, his celebration is awesome too.
No offense to any women’s sports fanatics out there, but it’s highly unlikely that we post A LOT about women’s basketball on here. Not this time though, not when Notre Dame beats Mercer a whopping 128-42. This was the highest scoring game in the school’s history and moved the team to 13-1 for the season. They also set record for most points in a half (72), largest margin of victory (82), and most free throws made (43). Pretty amazing feat for any team to do, great way to end 2011.
Like I said before, the Heat are going to run all over this Dallas Mavs team. Dirk and co. didn’t really have a chance from the start. I love how the Heat always start the game out pretty soft (keepin’ it close) and then turn it on right when it matters. They pretty much toyed with the Mavs the whole time. Did you see those dunks Lebron threw down at the end of the game? That was way too swagged out. So that’s that, the Heat take game 1 in Miami winning 92 to 84. Lebron James lead all scorers on the Heat with 24 pts, Wade had 22, and Chris Bosh ended up with 19. Can’t stop the Big Three in Miami, LET’S GO!
UPDATE: Here’s the “exclamation point”
