The day is finally here, Apple has announced yet another amazing product, the iPad Mini. Measuring 7.87″ x 5.3″, this is much smaller than the original iPad. It offers a 7.9″ LED-backlit Multi-Touch display with IPS technology and features 1024 x 768 resolution at 163 pixels per inch. It is still powered by a Dual-core A5 chip as was the iPad 2, but instead features a new FaceTime HD camera that takes 1.2 megapixel photos, 720 HD video, and allows both face detection and backside illumination. There is also a 5 megapixel iSight camera, which allows 1080p HD video recording. Other features include aluminum and glass design, Wi-Fi/Cellular support, and much more. A Vietnamese site called Tinhete.vn was lucky enough to get their new iPad ahead of schedule and has revealed the processor specs for the new Apple product. Apparently it lacks a new name or additional numbers, causing more confusion amongst journalists. It also has 1 GB of RAM memory, up from 512 MB in iPad 2. Then it’s A5X processor ticks at 1 GHz, exactly the same clock speed as the A5 CPU in the iPad 2. For more information on the new gadget click here.
