Seattle played host to this year’s WeDay Conference, and our extended family from Rated PG, PG Fam, and RNG joined in on the festivities. Joined by the Massive Monkees, they performed a dance showcase to a packed house at the Key Arena yesterday. Last week we showed you a sneak peek of our lookbook video, well now that the entire line is out it’s time to show you the whole thing. A big thanks again to Steve Arcenio for being a genius behind the camera, you don’t get quality like this from just anybody, he’s one of the best in the bizz. Now here’s our 2013 Spring lookbook video which showcases most of our new items which are all available online. The picture you see above is currently the view from our balcony at the MGM Signature tower. We’ve all been very busy out here at Magic networking and making all the right moves to push our brand forward and deliver you the best drop yet with the release of our 2013 Spring collection. It’s also been great meeting other brands and seeing young up-n-comers showcasing their product. After being here for only 1 day we’re excited to see all of the new trends coming in 2013.
Since we’re all out here together it was a must that we celebrate recent accomplishments with the brand and truly live out our message of “Rich is not what you have, it’s who you have beside you”. So we headed over to Marquee at night for the Creative Rec party with A-Trak and DJ Vice. Shout out to the good people over at Creative Rec, that was one hell of a night. Thanks for the great time.
We’ve also been recording with a Contour cam while down here so expect some footage sometime after we come back. Now we’re at day 2 and we’ll update with another recap tomorrow. We’re very excited about this 2013 Spring line coming soon and can’t wait to show you entire collection. For this year’s Spring line “A Hooligan Collection” we’re doing things a bit different and want to give YOU a chance to a part of our drop. For the first time ever we will be holding an open casting call and choosing one male and one female to be the face of our campaign and lookbook. Not content to re-hash traditional styles or ideas in fashion, “New Object Research” designer and sculptor, Aitor Throup is set to unleash his highly anticipated series of unconventional designs; the Shiva Skull Bags. Each bag is inspired by military spec craftsmanship and durability; constructed from a rich tweed with leather trim. But true to Throup’s obsession with minute, scientific detail, each bag is based off of the exact specifications of the shape of a human skull — but with zippered access, of course. The bags are perfect for stashing your eye of newt, several bat hearts, a bundle of vulture feathers, or whatever else you might consider part of your daily essentials. You can check out the Aitor Throup site to find a global stockist that might carry one of these bags when they drop in early 2013.
Even though these kicks run for a lot of cheddar, I still thought they were pretty awesome. The shoes above and below are from the Valentino 2012 Spring/Summer collection.
