Nico for Rich Kids Brand Summer 2011
Our boy @nicoxortega was recently acquired for his impeccable dapperness by the School of Style. Nico was a model in the Rich Kids Brand inaugural season lookbook back last summer, and is a great friend to all of us here at the brand. He recently moved down to LA and is getting his hands into the style circuit down there fast, having already worked with Deadmau5 and the cast of True Blood along with a handful of others. Congrats to Nico, and be sure to be on the lookout for more from him and the School of Style very soon!
Mack Maine drops a new track! Just some feel good music from the President of YMCMB. He adds Talib Kweli and Lil Wayne to round out the cast for the track. Super dope music! Hopefully we see more from Mack sooner than later.

As many of you in the fashion world remember from last year, John Galliano, then Artistic Director at Dior fashion house, was fired for Anti-Semitic remarks he made. This was a huge shock, and naturally he was immediately removed from his position. From that point up until now, there was much speculation as to who would succeed him as the chair for the Paris fashion house. Marc Jacobs was in questions for some time, as well as the man who has now officially been named as the new Artistic Director, Raf Simons.
Simons’ own private label is madly successful, and has received even more spotlight from the mainstream fashion and streetwear world after mentions from rapper A$AP Rocky. Raf Simons also has been doing some great work with Jil Sander over the last couple of years. It will be an exciting coming year with Simons as the head of Dior. Look forward to updates from us on where he takes the brand with his vision! Simons’ Dior debut will be the fall collection which will be unveiled in June.
