Big Sean Responds to Ludacris
So hopefully you’ve been keeping up with this little rap beef. Ludacris dropped a song called “Bada Boom” on his new mixtape 1.21 Ggawatts and took some shots at Big Sean and Drake (apparently). Big Sean was actually in town yesterday and stopped by Kube 93. FM to give us his side of the story. Just to catch you up a bit in “Bada Boom” Luda calls out Big Sean and Drake for saying they invented a certain rap style and claiming that they are the originators when it’s not true.
Just in case you haven’t heard Luda’s track yet, here it is.

DMX to Join Maybach Music Group?
According to several reports DMX is supposed to get out soon and says that Rick Ross reached out to him about signing to Maybach Music. This would be awesome, DMX is a much better fit to MMG’s gangster persona than Wale. For sure want to see this happen. Here’s what X had to say to VIBE magazine about the issue.

I’m thinking about it. It was a good feeling. I respect him as an artist, and I would like to work with him. But he got the whole Illuminati thing going on. I got fans who write me like ‘I’m glad you’re not a part of that.’ And I don’t know what it’s really about entirely. So it might be like a good thing.
That’s crazy man. Because I don’t know if you heard but right now Rick Ross is on fire. Maybach Music Group signed up a whole bunch of people. Wale, Pill–and they’re really doing it man. That would be a crazy power move if you guys joined up.
Yeah. I have respect for him and he expressed interest that he wanted to work with me while I was out. So I definitely want do a song with him, but I don’t know about the record label thing. I would have to see what his camp is like and feel people out. I’m not the average artist.

Shaq’s Actual Retirement (Not on Twitter)
So a lot of people are criticizing Shaq for how he went out the other day on Twitter. I say let the man do what he wants, he gave the NBA an amazing 19 years in the league so if he chose Twitter to go out with… let him. Eminem with Full Support for Odd Future
Whether you like Odd Future or not is up to you, but Eminem seems to “respect their movement”. According to the top selling rap artist in the world he likes the fact that the group is pushing boundaries and buttons just like he did when he first stepped into the game. Here’s the full interview on what he feels about the group, Royce has some input on Frank Ocean too. It’s good to see cats older in the game showing respect to the new guys instead of hatin’ on em like some do.
