So for all those people wondering why Jersey Shore is still on TV, you can breathe now. After this final season of the show MTV has officially declared that it will be the final season. Snookie just had her first baby, The Situation had to go to rehab, and who knows what other problems these people may have by now. It’s been a very long and entertaining ride, but all good things have to come to an end.
Just when I had no faith in MTV coming back to being an actual music channel they come out with some great news. Apparently Yo! MTV Raps will be coming back to your television screen. The only bad part is that it is only coming back for one night, December 4th. I had hoped it would be for a full season at least but nope… just one episode. Tune in as they original hosts come back to give a little love to hip-hop culture.
According to abcnews.com “Giuliana Rancic revealed today that she has breast cancer, after doctors discovered a tumor during her latest round of in-vitro fertilization.” Sad news for the entertainment industry but we wish the best for her and hopefully everything will get resolved.
“It’s been a shock,” the 36-year-old E! News and Style Network host said in an emotional interview with the “Today” show. “A lot of people have been asking, ‘We saw that you went and got IVF, so what happened? Are you pregnant?’ But sadly, we’ve had to put that off.”_ABCnews.com

30 years ago today MTV’s Music Channel launched in the United States. The first ever music video played on MTV was “Video Killed the Radio Star” by The Buggles. Ever since then they took over the TV/Music industry, but now all we have on there is pregnant 16 year olds and their Slim Shady like boyfriends. MTV now stands for Maternity Televsision.
