2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 Prototype Sells for $300,000
The image above is of a new 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 prototype which just recently sold for $300,000. This is a one of a kind concept and it was purchased at an auction. At first most thought this car would not be street legal but some modifications can be made to hit the road. For more info click here.
Google Granted Patent for Drive-Less Cars
The U.S. Patent office granted Google a patent for mixed-mode autonomous vehicles. cars can alternate between drivers and the cars themselves controlling the wheel. The technology requires reference indicators found on roads that allows a vehicle to determine its location and then via URL, know how to move on in terms of speed and direction. This could be huge, imagined driving down from Seattle to Cali and just taking a nap.

Leonardo DiCaprio is the First to Own a 2012 Fisker Karma Sports Car
Damn that movie money must be doin’ him real good right now. Leo was recently spotted getting into his brand new 2012 Fisker sports car and he is actually the very first owner of one. The car runs anywhere from $95,900 to $108,900, it is a hybrid-electric sports car. Fisker is a new American car company based out of Anaheim, CA. Here’s some more pics of the whip.
Maserati Gran Turismo S Superior Black Edition
Was doing my daily uncrate browsing and came across this piece of work. Now I’m not great on automotive opinions but when I see something like this all I can think is…”Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn” (Ice Cube and Smokey voice on Friday). Here’s some more technical info according to Uncrate.

Mercedes F Class BA3 Final Edition
If you haven’t heard, Mercedes is done producing these cars but this is what they came up with for the final design. If you’re going to go out in a big way this is how you do it. The new G class is sure to turn heads.
Here’s what the German car maker had to say about the new and final G class BA3 coming out.
“Two variants will be available: in the G 350 BlueTEC a 6-cylinder diesel engine with the very latest BlueTEC emissions control, 155 kW (211 hp) and 540 newton metres for great pulling power both on and off the road. In the G 500 a powerful 5.5-litre V8 petrol engine with 285 kW (388 hp) and 530 newton metres effortlessly performs the same function.
Both special models of this classic among Mercedes-Benz off-roaders are equipped with the same high-performance drive and dynamic handling control systems. Alongside the permanent all-wheel drive with off-road ratio and the 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic transmission, the standard specification includes the electronically controlled traction system 4ETS, the Electronic Stability Program ESP® and three differential locks with 100-percent locking effect selectable at the push of a button.
Externally Mercedes-Benz has significantly upgraded the “BA3 Final Edition”. AMG flared wheel arches in the vehicle colour, in combination with 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels and tyre size 265/60 R 18, underline the striking appearance of the special model. Running boards and a spare wheel cover with a 3D Mercedes-Benz star in stainless steel, as well as an AMG radiator grille in a 3-louvre design with chrome highlights, emphasise its exceptional position in the range. Standard features also include an electric sliding/tilting sunroof, metallic paintwork, rear mudflaps, carbon-fibre look inserts in the protective strips, an ultrasonic reversing aid and a tyre pressure monitoring system.”
