“The Roc is in the building!” What a great way to bring in 2013. It’s amazing to see one of the most iconic people in hip-hop wearing Rich Kids Brand and representing what we stand for. Jay-Z was spotted at the Nets vs. Cavaliers game Saturday night sitting court side wearing one of our “Hooligans” (black/grey) crewneck sweatshirts which will be available online January 7th. These will be made in very limited quantities so make sure to get yours before they sell out. Here are some more photos of Jay-Z rockin’ RK that night.

Got some great news today to start off the week. Method Man, Freedie Gibbs, and Streetlife recently released a new music video for the track “Built for This” which is off the “The Man with the Iron Fists” movie soundtrack. In the video you can see that Freddie Gibbs is wearing a “Self Made Hooligan” tank from our 2012 Summer line (captured in the screen shots above). A HUGE shout out to Freddie Gibbs for rockin’ with us, he has been making some huge moves in the game recently, especially with the release of his highly anticipated mixtape “Baby Face Killa” hosted by DJ Drama. We just recently received some awesome pictures of Grammy Award winning producers Play n Skillz wearing some of our gear. If you’re not familiar with the two they’ve both won Grammys for tracks such as “Ridin’ Dirty” by Chamillionaire and “Get Money” by T-Pain ft. Lil’ Wayne. Their next big move is going on an international tour with LMFAO which we all know is one of the biggest names in the industry. Shout out to Play n Skillz for rockin’ with us and we wish you the best on your tour. The tee that we’ve spotted in the pics above and below is our brand new “Garfield” tee from the 2012 Fall line.

Here’s something we like to call “Hooligan of the Day”. Wear our stuff, do something awesome, and then BAM! You’re in. For this week’s Hooligan of the day we have very well known choreographer Bryan Tanaka with a brand new skit called “Brother Louis”. PropaneLV has been making a lot of moves lately and you can’t deny that the covers he puts out are pretty amazing. We caught onto this guy when he first put a “No Lie” cover by Drake and 2 Chainz, absolutely killed it. This time he put out a cover for “Stay With You” which is originally by Mike Posner and Avicii. He is also wearing one of our RK “Spring Training” tees from Spring 2012 in the video. Shout out to PropaneLV for rockin’ with us and we look forward to seeing more videos coming soon.

Rich Kids Brand spotted in new interview w/ Midnight Red
“A Rich Experience” is something we’re going to start doing just to give you some insight on what the brand has been doing when we’re not in the office working to bring you the best in clothing and entertainment. As always “Rich is not what you have, it’s who you have beside you”, so money isn’t necessary to have a “rich” experience, just great people and a great time.
For this rich experience a few of us from the brand got to go out and watch Erykah Badu perform live at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle. Now we don’t know about you, but to us Erykah Badu is a legendary artist so this seemed like we were checking something off a bucket list. Seeing Erykah Badu and her band The Cannibinoids live is something everyone should experience in their life, at least once. The night was amazing as she lit up the stage with her band behind her giving Seattle one hell of a performance. Not only is Erykah Badu a legend vocally, but she sure knows how to put on a show, great stage presence.
DJ Big Texas
Another great part about the show was that we somewhat got to be involved, at least the brand was. Her Dj, DJ Big Texas was rockin’ one of our Propaganda tees (purple) on stage along with our signature “Hooligan Head” hat while Erykah Badu performed. Erykah Badu’s personal DJ (DJ A1) was also later spotted at the after party wearing a “Nautical” tee from our Summer line that dropped this year. It was cool to see that they loved the brand and could represent in our hometown. Erykah Badu’s musical director (RC) also put up a picture yesterday wearing on of our “RK Hooligan” v-necks, he is a Grammy nominated director that also tours with Snoop Dogg. A big thanks to the whole crew for reppin’ the brand, it was really cool to meet everyone and see that they loved our message and what we stand for. Make sure to look out for these guys if they’re ever coming to you town, this is one show you do not want to miss.

Got some more great news today. We just got sent this video of Midnight Red performing their hit single “Hell Yeah” at the Gramercy Theatre. The crowd goes crazy for them as always and you can also spot a “Nautical” tee on stage. We are very proud to introduce to you Ludacris’ new video “Jingalin”. Not only are we excited because the video is one of his best and craziest ever, but also because for this one he wears one of our RK “Propaganda” tees (purple). The tee can be spotted in the scene where Ludacris is in a huge blow up toy with a bunch of ladies. “Jingalin” also premiered earlier today on MTV’s “Sucker Free Countdown”.
