Lebron took to instagram earlier today and wanted us to know what he was wearing. The standout part of this pic were his “Watch the Throne” 9′s. This is one super rare pair of Lebrons, they’re actually marked as “unreleased”.
Looks like we’ve got some new celebrity Hooligan pictures today. After Red Bull’s 3Style battle last night, both DJ Z-Trip and DJ Jazzy Jeff were spotted wearing some of our gear. Z-Trip was wearing one of our recently popular “Hooligans” crewnecks and Jazzy Jeff was rockin’ a “Penthouses and Pitfalls” snapback. The “Hooligans” crewneck is currently sold out but we have plenty more coming as part of our 2013 Spring collection, so stay tuned! The “Penthouses and Pitfalls” snapback is still available online so get yours HERE if you haven’t yet. Shout out to both DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Z-Trip for rockin’ with us, both super talented and legendary DJs. You may also remember DJ Jazzy Jeff as Will Smith’s best friend on “Fresh Prince of Bel Air”. Live Rich!
One of our favorite Hooligans Chris Miles is back with another music video and it might be his best video yet. The production quality in this one is better than a lot of music videos from even some bigger named rappers. Oh and of course he goes off when it comes to delivery, flow, and killing it lyrically. Right from the start you can spot one of our purple “Propaganda” tees which has now appeared in this video, Ludacris’ “Jingalin”, and Mark Battles’ “Last Night”. Shout out to Chris Miles for rockin’ with us and make sure to keep an eye on this kid as he’s making his way to the top very fast.
“The Roc is in the building!” What a great way to bring in 2013. It’s amazing to see one of the most iconic people in hip-hop wearing Rich Kids Brand and representing what we stand for. Jay-Z was spotted at the Nets vs. Cavaliers game Saturday night sitting court side wearing one of our “Hooligans” (black/grey) crewneck sweatshirts which will be available online January 7th. These will be made in very limited quantities so make sure to get yours before they sell out. Here are some more photos of Jay-Z rockin’ RK that night.
Oh and check out the 2:14 mark of this video.
Happy Monday! Today is a great day as we’re busy in the office preparing to drop our fall line this Wednesday. Some other great news is that we just spotted this “Clique” dance video which features one of our “Self Made Hooligan” (1:28 of the video) tanks from the Summer line. The video came out yesterday and is already getting a great reaction on YouTube. Shout out to David Moore TV for putting out such a dope video and killin’ it with the choreography as always. Here you go…
A couple of days ago we posted about Princeton and Ray Ray being spotted in some Rich Kids Brand, and today we have even more news from Mindless Behavior with Prodigy wearing one of our “Crest“ tanks from the Summer line! Shout out to Mindless Behavior for rockin’ with us as a crew and make sure to check out all of the content they have on VEVO and YouTube. Their most recent music video for “Mrs. Right” is currently sitting at 32 million views, now that’s impressive.
Another great moment in RK history. Got to hook up Nipsey Hussle with some gear when he was out here for a show last night and he was really feelin’ the LOYALTY Hoodie from our Spring 2012 collection. In his exact words Nipsey said “Yeah, that sh*t hard cuz”. Shout out to Nipsey Hussle for rockin’ with us and putting on such an amazing show last night for the city of Seattle. Its’ been great seeing all these awesome artists come out here this Summer including him, Casey Veggies, Dom Kennedy, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, and many more.
As always, big time rappers get their hands on the designer stuff super early and that’s exactly what happened here with Big Sean. He was recently spotted wearing a Givenchy t-shirt from their 2012 pre-fall collection. This one is called the “Patchwork print tee” and would run you around $459.
We think it’s safe to say by now that Meek Mill is one of the top names in the rap game. Put him up there with whoever you want, but dude is straight killin’ it. He was recently criticized by a preacher for his song “Amen” since it uses a lot of religious references and came on 106 n’ Park to talk about it. He also let us know that he’s got about 50 tracks that he would love to drop but is saving the best ones for the album “Dreams and Nightmares”. So here’s that full interview addressing both topics. Meek Mill will also be performing in Seattle tomorrow at the Showbox and you better believe that we’ll be in attendance, this is a show you do not want to miss. In the picture above we’ve got Meek Mill wearing one of our signature Rich Kids Cursive tees, which are all available HERE.)
Wanted to give one huge shout out to Lil’ Niqo and his entire camp for rockin’ with us. We just received this picture from him wearing one of our “The Richest” tanks and the Hooligan snapback. Lil’ Niqo’s music video “Television Love” just hit 106 n’ Park not too long ago and is currently sitting at the #6 spot. For more music and all other information on Lil’ Niqo click HERE. We also just released this tank in our Summer line which is available HERE.
