Kanye West Making a Short Film in the Middle East
Just when you think Kanye West has done enough in music, fashion, art, and everything else… he jumps out with yet another idea. He’s decided to head to the Middle East in pursuit of another short film like his previous project “Runaway”. Personally I thought that film was a little too strange for my liking, but you know celebrities and their crazy visions. Here’s what some sources in the Middle East had to say about the upcoming project.
“In Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha all of the film initiatives are government controlled,” one source involved in the talks told The Observer. “A bidding war is going on between various government entities and private investors to fund the film. There’s pretty intense rivalry here between Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Qatar. They all want to claim the film as their own and take credit for generating the publicity.”
“His reps seemed genuinely enthusiastic about creating a piece which highlights the culture accurately,” one source told The Observer. “There’s a lot of preconceived notions and stereotypes about Emiratis and Qataris, which Westerners often play up. They discussed how Kanye is looking to bridge the cultural divide and break misconceptions.”

Okay this has really gotten out of hand but I guess I can’t say anything until I’ve been to the show. Apparently the “Watch The Throne” duo has upped their “Ni**as in Paris” encore to 10 times! If they’re doing the entire song that’s around 34 minutes of just one track. I’m interested to hear feedback from people seeing if they like this repetition or not. Either way it’s Kanye West and Jay-Z so you can’t really complain. Here’s the 10 time footage.
Nicki Minaj brings out Kanye West On Tour in NY
Last night in NY Nicki Minaj decided to bring out Kanye West to help her perform “Monster”. It’s rare to see Kanye make appearances like this out of nowhere but recently he’s stopped by a lot of shows. Good to see the guy get out once in a while, must love promoting “Watch The Throne”.

As Kanye roamed the streets and gave dap to some adoring fans he was spotted wearing a Prada embroidered Monkeys Tee and some Balenciaga sneakers. Hard to find the price on both items which means they must be pretty damn exclusive. Here’s some more pics from the day.

Either way this track is bananas, and 3 stacks is back like he never left. The elusive Andre 3000 provides his sweet 16 for the SWV-esque track off Beyonce’s upcoming album, 4. It’s gonna be a hot one!
Lebron Makes Reporter Look like an Idiot
So as we all know the Miami Heat won game 3 last night to go up 2-1 in the Finals series. A lot of people have been questioning whether Lebron is doing all the work or whether it’s D-Wade. The thing that most people tend to oversee is the fact that basketball is a team sport. Just because Lebron James doesn’t go off one night and D-Wade does doesn’t mean reporters have to keep shifting the weight on who the biggest star is.
