Oklahoma City Thunder Advance to NBA Finals
It’s official. The Oklahoma City Thunder are the Western Conference Champions. Down 15 points at the end of the 1st half of tonight’s game 6, the Oklahoma Thunder rallied back in the 2nd half to win their 4th game in a row against the San Antonio Spurs. Kevin Durant had 34 in tonight’s victory and was key in the comeback. This will be the first time the Oklahoma City Thunder will advance to the finals since leaving the city of Seattle back in 2008. The first time back for the franchise since the incredible run by Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp back in the 90s.
Russell Westbrook Signs Extension w/ Thunder
Seems like a good day for some basketball news. According to Sheridan Hoops, Russell Westbrook just signed a 5 year extension contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder worth $79 million.
