As you know Whitney Houston’s funeral was today and a lot of celebrities came out to pay their respects. Some of them even performed at the funeral as I’m sure she would have loved. Here are some videos of R. Kelly, Stevie Wonder, and Alicia Keys singing at the ceremony.
“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions.
“I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move,” he said. “Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene.
“My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”
R.I.P. Whitney Houston
This is a great way to start the show. LL Cool J came out, ignored what he was originally supposed to do, and said a beautiful prayer for Whitney Houston. Very emotional.
Decided to put together a small playlist of Whitney Houston’s top hits throughout her career. One of the best and most powerful voices to grace the music industry. She will be very missed by many and don’t forget to tune into the Grammy’s tonight for her tribute performance by Jennifer Hudson.
